Has anyone seen just the mount for sale? I have a 30" Baja Designs bar that came off my old rig. Just looking for a way to mount it.

It wont "hurt" the battery... But having an LED burning 24/7 cant help it either.

Have had a factory OEM LED light blinking in my Platinum dash since I took delivery new in 14. Never had an issue. It does not appear two tiny LEDs are gonna draw enough current to create any problems.

Its your rig... I did one install where the customer insisted it be hooked to the battery. He liked the bluish/purple LED on the switch, and wanted it constant. He hasn't had any trouble to date, but I just wire things to ACC or IGN whenever I can. That's just me though.

PMG- Rough Country instructions say wire it to the battery, which I did. It comes with a nice long wiring harness and switch relay, and inline fuse located at the battery and ready to go. It's an extremely bright light bar @12000 Lumens, dam bright.

And for the price, seamless appearance and so far performance, plus 3 yr replacement warranty.

This looks great, may have to look into it. Been wanting a lightbar for that area for a while now, but didn't want to spend 1K + on it.

How's the install? Does the bumper need to be removed or just the grill?

A very basic LED switch with a tape backing, so nothing fancy, no wow factor. Red light stays on which concerns some with potential battery drain, RC says not an issue. I have no OEM switch blanks on my Platinum dash. So I will keep this for now until I decide on some thing else.

No bumper removal, as @aramirez73 said, so carefully cut the lower grill out, you can use a small hack saw, blue painters tape to protect painted bumper area. Loosen all six fasteners under lower bumper on left and right side 14mm with breaker bar. Instructions are ok, pretty easy to figure out.

Install mounting brackets, then install light bar. Run your wiring up to battery, I zip tie the wire loom to keep it neat looking. Run your switch wire through your firewall. Then mount your relay, I used my negative battery grounding point for relay mount. It was close and just convenient. Attach your neg and positive connections to your battery. Done.

    Let there be light.
I saved the extra RC LB mounting hardware in the event I wake up some morning and UPS mysteriously drop ships a free amazing custom bumper and warn winch on my doorstep for a Tundra..doubtful, but you never know.

Interested in getting one of these as well and I have spare LED monogrammed switch, think there would be any issues wiring up to a prettier switch?

We install these. I don't care for the stick on stick on's... If we install them, people will bring their car back EVERY time is comes off the dash. We've even had people bring their own kits they bought off the internet, insisted we install the stick on button, then bitch when it peels off...After we warned them it would.

Yeah, I hear ya, I was going to go with a behind the grill LB, but being a bit of an clean freak, I wanted to be able to clean the LB lens. The lower bumper mount allows for cleaning.
