That's my favorite color on Tundras. My neighbor has a Honda Ridgeline that he got professionally painted in a similar cement color. They did an excellent job, looks factory. The white on my '08 is starting to fade. I'm gonna have a detailer look at it, and if they can't restore it I'll consider getting it painted that color. I do also like the Army Green on the '22 and wouldn't mind having one, but a $60k truck (and payments) doesn't appeal to me.

I’m new here and have owned 5 trucks all with various packages, some of which are Rc.I just put a Rc on my new 23 not a serious trail rider but it gets me around the winter mountains of Idaho just fine.

As wise people say, if your opinion never changes, you aren’t learning.

Ive had Dobinsons, 6112s, 5100s and Rough Country. There isn’t much of a difference. Just make sure you get a kit that replaces front and rear struts, not just rear struts and a spacer up front.

Just installed the 3.5 lift with the rear avs load leveling system. Kit looks and feels solid. I do have an issue when I put it in 4wd high and drive at low speeds, I get vibration. When I let off the gas it gets worse. When I try to disconnect 4wd it doesn't what to disengage. I got under the truck with the company that installed it and don't see anything out of the norm. Waiting on RC to let me know what they think might be the issue. The truck drives great in 2wd. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks

Just speculating, but if you are on firm ground like pavement, your 4wd is going to be jerky especially at low speed. Also, I hope you are rolling forward when trying to disengage the 4wd. If these two suggestions don't apply then you might have some things to figure out. Good luck.

Drive shaft angel is good. This truck with 4wd doesn't have a place for a carrier bearing shim. 2wd is completely fine. The shaking is coming from the front. I know you get a little tire friction on the road when in 4wd high but this isn't the same. The big thing for me is that it has a hard time disengaging from 4wd. It seems under pressure. Rough country has no complaints about this kit nation wide. I was on the for with the tech from RC measuring everything , all seemed right. It will be going back to the shop that installed it tomorrow.

I still bet is something with the driveshaft. It has been a bit since my last oil change but I really thought the 22 has a 2 piece driveshaft, just like my older tundras. Look forward to reading the outcome. Best of luck.

Im currently thinking about getting a RC lift. Im debating between 3.5 and 6 inch lift. I really just want to be able to put 35s without any worries of rubbing. Also I’ve never owned a lifted vehicle and just dont know if 6 inches is to tall or even worth it

My 2 cents Is , bolt on allows you to keep your warranty. 4in and bigger requires cutting . Your truck will ride rougher no matter what. I'm running 35 on 3.5 RC no rubbing.

Toyota factory kit has more of an angle on the cv axels. My truck with RC 3.5 just needed to settled in.

So they explained away your issues by simply saying it "needed to settle in"?! WTF

Ya 1/2 is a huge difference on an angle of a cv axle. After a couple weeks it dropped about 1/2 and all is good. I gained 4.5 in lift with 3.5 RC and 35.

I hate when the shop says it has to settle in or give it some time. This time it was true.

You are running on the ragged edge of problems vs. no problems if only 1/2" of ride height makes the difference. Better not get off the asphalt with that thing.

The TRD lift axles have different internals. The black axles are tripods and the off-road models are double offset. I would assume the TRD axles are offsets like the off-road also

I don’t have a 3rd Gen, but I’m running RC M1’s all around on my 19 CM with CB shackles and they’ve been great so far. Mostly pavement, with some pretty rough logging/hunting trails thrown in. Honestly, they feel exactly like my friends rigs with 5100s. For the $, I’m very happy

Don't know if this was covered in previous posts but...I just purchased a 2023 Tundra this past August and I immediately had the Rough Country 3.5 lift installed at a custom lift shop.
After I got the truck back I noticed the rear was lower than the front by almost 2 to 3 inches. I asked the shop about this and they it was possibly due to the limited travel of the servo arm on the lift sensor,
or something to do with the rear spacer above the airbag. I have been haggling with them to try and correct it but they are not interested in helping me.

I actually crawled underneath the rear and moved the lift sensor arm to it's lowest position (which increases the height) to get it to raise up, and it did climb up a little but it's still about an inch and a quarter too low. The lift sensor arm sits in a moon pie-shaped slot and can be adjusted by loosening the nut on the slot and moving the arm up and down. Since I moved it to it's lowest position that's as far as I could go. And like I said, the rear is still low. I can actually manually raise the rear to be level with the front using the switch on the dash inside the truck, but as soon as I drive off above 15 to 20 mph the rear reverts back to the Neutral position and the rear drops again. I tried moving the switch from highest to lowest in an attempt to possibly reset the lift parameters on the sensor but it didn't work.

At least it is off the bump stops but it still rides a little stiff, and when I go over small bumps or rough spots in pavement I will hear and feel the bump. As mentioned in an earlier post, I'm just wondering if the ball joint angles need to be corrected with the proper upper arm controls..perhaps they used a Westcott design collar lift which would cause the ball joints to bind and throw off the original geometry design. This was mentioned earlier, so I'm giving credit to that poster. I didn't come up with this theory on my own.

Bottom line is, I'm frustrated with the saggy rear and not satisfied with the slightly bumpy ride. I realize the truck is not supposed ride like a Cadillac but still, I need some improvement.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated before I throw more money at a different shop to correct this mistake. Thank you.

Tmac, you need the readylift rear spacer for the rear if you have the air ride in the back. Thats what i put on mine.
