So....left my windshield wipers on accidentally. Next day everything was covered in ice. Get in to fire up the truck and the driver side wiper got stuck but, the passenger side continued like normal. I tried doing a search but, couldn't find what I'm looking for. Can anyone please post a wiper schematic for a 3rd gen? Need to do a little investigation. I know...I know....I'm fired. Thanks

Don't have any real info but I suspect the wiper transmission is bad on the passenger side, I'd see if it's covered under a warranty if you have one.

I have an extended warranty but, not sure when I'd be able to drop it off. I use this truck to pull a trailer for work every day. I try to do most of the maintenance myself if possible

It’s an entire assembly. If you remove the plastic cowl under the windshield it’s very self explanatory. You may have stripped the arm so remove it and reinstall. If that doesn’t fix it the assembly is about $130

I had this happen to be because the bolt loosened up. I just positioned the wiper at the bottom of the windshield and tightened the bolt. Everything is good to go now

Thanks. When this snow finally stops falling I'll get out there and give it a shot

Seen this happen around here before. Most likely you should be able to reposition the wiper and tighten it back up.

Nah, no worries, man. I hadn't ever thought of that until you mentioned it. Hope it resolves itself easily.
