Either that or make a sleeping platform inside cab. I m modifying the passsenger seat where it flods all the way down, and making an attachable platform that sits right over seat. Of course it s limited space, but in my case there s only me.

Found a great deal on a 2+ smittybilt today. Anyone ever have any issue storing the tents on their side? Trying to find space in the garage is tough. Don’t want to do any damage though

I guess a better way to phrase the question is if I am going to be storing it on one end, which end should be up? I am assuming the end with the hinges should be up?

Have you thought about using a hoist for a platform to store it along the ceiling of the garage? Here's a google search. https://www.google.com/search?q=gar...hUKEwjovYabpJ7rAhURAzQIHSUqBNUQ_AUoAHoECAEQAA

Check the images, and you might be able to rig something up yourself.

I have seen those and they look so nice!! Definitely plan to rig up some kind of hoist/Pully system. In the mean time though don’t want to jack the tent up! Can you think of any issues just propping it up for time being?

I have zero knowledge on roof top tents. I would assume it's going to vary my tent type. I know it's no help on a weekend, but I'd give the manufacturer a call and see what they say.

I stand mine up in the garage when not on the truck, I just lean it against the wall however it was carried in and haven’t had any issue yet.

The lean is the first thing they mention. Though they don't say hinges up or anything.

I stand corrected (and apparently can’t read) haha. I tuned out when I saw them talking about wrapping it. That is just what I was looking for though, thank you, Adam!

I have an Eezi-Awn Blade and it has been great. Very convenient and very quick setup and takedown. I love this setup.

I found a couple that I like, very similar, but a solid difference in price. I prefer the idea of the side openers because it'd be less overhang on the small CM bed.

Roofnest was mentioned earlier in the thread, but not this particular tent.
    https://roofnest.com/product/condor-xl/

    Review video for it.

    https://youtu.be/PFyg5d7w6SI

Not familar with these guys, but it seems really similar to the Roofnest above. It is significantly less expensive, but also not as thin when folded.
    https://tuffstuff4x4.com/collections/roof-top-tents/products/tuff-stuff®-alpha-hard-top-side-open-tent-gray-4-person

Here's a long term review I watched. What are you thoughts?

    https://youtu.be/wH7hlNbcKZY

Anyone have experience with either of these? Any other tents that are similar setups?

Probably about the same price, but I posted this one in another thread. Just another style similar to GFC. A little different type of build.

Just picked up the 23zero walkabout 72-

Ready to get it in the woods and mountains!

Anyone familiar with some quality spots in Arkansas, never been up there camping but looking to head up in the next few weekends.

I had this posted in my build thread, but I think it might be of more use here. I also wanted to tag @AlrightAlrightAlright because, IIRC, you're looking for a Falcon tent, right? No better time than now with this kind of a sale on them, and free shipping in the lower 48.
