Nice Ken! Smart choice IMO! Doesn't hurt that it looks good too.

I wish I had a better picture but this is from when I pulled my headliner. Would it have been visible in the picture if present?
    20200826_190527.jpg

This is a straight on side shot in line with the fairing that might give an idea of coverage. The red line is where the fairing stops and the yellow lines are approximately where the first bar is.

I have no skin in this game but, considering that this is a 'debate' thread, I figured I would share why I wouldn't have gone with the Spider roof rack.
I like the idea of the "no drill" option but my concerns - which is only an opinion - are these:

This gutter is only two pieces of sheet metal that are spot welded together. You are relying on these spot welds & glue to hold the pressure of the mounting pucks in place.
    20200830_134148.jpg

Aside from the spot welds, the manufacturer fills the gully with some sort of soft caulking.
You can see in this picture that my fingernail leaves a depression in the material with little pressure.
    20200831_210203.jpg

Finally, the glue that is used to hold the mounting puck in place is attached to nothing but paint. Again, no dog in this fight, but love the idea of alternatives to drilling holes into the roof.

Perfect, thanks! The antenna on the 2019's is located right around where you show the deflector or fairing ending. Appreciate the pictures!

Thanks for the @ and this thread. I'm hoping to design the matching front rack in the next couple months. Just getting up the confidence to drill the holes. I plan on using the instructions for one of these existing racks to measure for the holes/mounts on mine. Seems like the move is to drop the headliner to be sure you dont damage anything.

This was the choice that I concluded on and have been very happy with. I have a lot of pictures on my build thread regarding my install if you have the interest to check it out. The one thing that I suggest - unless you have a better option - is to get a small shaft collar with set screw that fits your drill bit size nicely; or drill it out to fit. This will stop your drill bit from going to deep.

I'm looking to put a cab rack on my 21 CrewMax. I've got a Rhino Rack Elevation on the canopy, and for looks, would like to use Rhino Rack Backbone and Pioneer platform on the cab. Slat orientation on the Platform means that the sharkfin antenna is dead center. Was thinking of routing/machining out a 2" x 8" hole in the slat. At least then the antenna would have a chance of working. Thoughts? Experience? Would Prinsu be better as the slats could be configured to avoid the antenna?

@dkrou @InTheRough Do either of you have fold up Windoors on your canopy? And if so, does the grab-handle on your rack interfere with them at all? The UpTop Overland website says that their rack DOES NOT work with the RSI smartcap because of those grab handle and the gull wing doors on the cap. I just put down the deposit for a SnugTop Rebel that has Windoors, and I'm trying to figure out (after the fact ) if those Windoors will disqualify the UpTop Overland rack.

The guy that sells snugtop he thinks this is a rebel photo attached with side window up...in my opinion I don't think it will hit that grab handle. you can send the pics to up top for an opinion...worse case don't attach the handles.

I do not have Windoors or RSI but would gladly put either on my truck if I found them for a deal. In my opinion, that is a simple solution of cutting a few inches out of the crossbar width. It may not line up with the cab rack but considering quality and features of the UpTop overland rack, I still wouldn't have gotten anything else.
With that being said, I don't feel like windoors would cause any major issues with the grab handles.

The only thing that I have been disappointed with when considering these racks was the mounting hardware for the canopy rack. They supply a plethora of spacers so you can get it to sit at the same height as the cab rack and the spacers are nicely made. The mounting bracket itself is pretty flimsy. They supply 4x brackets like the one shown. With two 10' 35lb paddleboards on the rack, I can see wobble on the freeway. I plan on making my own mounts for each crossbar location so there won't be any movement.

Any chance you can take a picture of the rack from the top? I saw one in FB Tundracrew where the tracks were too wide that it didn't clear the edges and middle of the load bars. Just wanted to see how close your tracks are to the middle.

thank you, if you can take a side shot of your truck, that'd be cool too--I haven't seen much of them online or in person. I just called Uptop, they come with spacers now. The guy talking about how he had to make shims bought it when it initially came out and didnt come with spacers lol

. I will try to send more...I have the rock lights on both sides and s2 pro work lights on rear of the rack...the guy that installed it said it was the best one he had worked with regarding engineering and quality. I had rino rails on the ATC topper so just had to figure out hardware to get it to go on. I got it mainly to add lights and baja design are the ones really made for that particular rack. I got the high density roof when I ordered my topper but mainly because I have a gun rack drawer mounted inside which is heavy the rack itself isn't a big deal unless you are going to load it up.
