I’ll add a little different color as well. Currently running 3/1 with 275/65r20 ST MAXX’s. Debating on going back with the Rock Warrior wheels on 315/70r17 tires.

Dumb question!, I have a 2012 RW and when buying accessories it always gives 3 options, Base, Limited and SR5. What is the Rock Warrior Edition?

I asked about this at a dealership and when they ran the Vin, it came back as the RW package being an add on to the SR5 package

I sort of figured that but even in the Toyota Owners page with my VIN it does not state anything about SR5.
    What the hell is GRD?

I've never drooled so much, some amazing trucks guys. 2 quick questions from a non-Rock Warrior peasant...

What are my options for black lugs for my RW wheels? Currently using proper conical lugs, but would like something more trustworthy/black and doesn't cost $175 (RW lug set).

Where to buy new center caps from?

    Thanks!

I don’t know if you’d want to go this route but I saw someone on here recommend these

I think I had been seeing this one on Facebook for sale for a while. Same truck? Seemed pretty solid. Are you happy with it. Looks great man.

GRD just stands for grade, I believe. The stock model. No extra bells or whistles.

Yeah usually happens when you use an impact on the key

I was only using the included tire iron. I got my driver's side nut off for brake pads and went to do the passenger side and it ripped apart as seen in the picture. I don't even own an impact

Yep... Same thing happened to mine and I wasn't using an impact gun either. Trying to replace it is spendy.

How spendy, I was gonna go to my local Toyota tomorrow to get a new one just so I could take rest off and replace them with non keyed nuts
I've only brought the truck into a shop once for a new rear brake kit. Only the rear wheels have come off since I bought the truck so maybe the previous owner had work done and used an impact but I have no idea.

I asked the same question earlier. SR5 is the answer I got. I also have the Flex engine and that too is not an option for anything toyota. So I now select SR5 and just the non flex engine. Roman said that is the best options for the RW.

Got it locally from the dealer but had to wait for it to come in. I couldn't find one anywhere else.

If you need a key for a Rock Warrior locking lug McGard will send one right out to you. Call customer service. I talked to Elizabeth. Send them a pic of the lock and they can match it up and send one out.

Had them overnight one to me as I was in a bit of a jam and we could not bust those locking lugs off. Talked to them at 3:30 on a Thursday and had the new key in hand 10 am Friday. Awesome customer service.

I was pretty happy that they could match it up from a pic and was affordable and they got it out to me so quickly.

Had assumed I would just be able to get the old ones off by hammering on a smaller socket but it was not happening.

My tire guys couldn’t get it off with their fancy tools either.

I had a 3/8 hex bolt stuck in my nearly bald KO2’s and fresh set of Ridge Grapplers waiting for me. McGard definitely came through for me.

And not that it would be a surprise to some on this thread but 305/70/17 fit no problem on stock suspension.

Suspension upgrades to come soon though...
