They are good people. I met the owner when I went to pick mine up. Guy was genuinely appreciative I gave him my business.

Unfortunately agreed. Was really hoping for a more modest price point. This sealed the deal on me picking up some All Pro Apex sliders, DOM, kick out, and Top Plate.... just gotta paint them up, but I was Out the Door for $725 cash w/ local pick up.

Placed my order for BashFab sliders today. He’s semi local to me (1.5hrs) and makes some beefy sliders for Tundras and any other Toyota 4x4 out there). He’s also going to weld them on for $80. His price was comparable to others and he welds them up one at a time. I love the dimple pattern on top too (which of course is an extra charge but even my wife said it was worth it bc it looks so cool ) 17EACB21-63B0-4DB2-825C-2C098EC3E5FD.jpgAFE6E2B0-C5AF-45F9-A28C-7832D1944D50.jpg

Sidetracked off road dude is super cool. He met a member half way cause he was running around in the area and took the sliders with him.

It's because you'll have to replace the whole Jeep 3 times to keep wheelin' as long as the Toyotas will last.

installed RCI sliders tonight. Went smooth for the most part but the driver side was definitely more troublesome than non due to gas tank. Overall, very happy with the product and quality.

Both of these bolts, upper and lower can just go F off! Literally no way to get my hand up there behind my gas tank.. I’ve already tried child labor, my children laughed at me =\

    passenger side looked good

I made my own bolt on sliders. The holes near the tank are a PITA. I ended up welding the nut to the large backing washer. I slipped that through the front of that large side hole, holding the nut/washer in place with a magnet, and put a couple stitch welds on it. That nut is there permanently...

I suspect anyone who has installed bolt-ons has had the same issue...large fingers. Unless you have 1/4" thick digits and articulation of a damn slinky, it's a pain. I struggled with that one nut/bolt by the gas tank for close to an hour before I decided to just weld that nut into place permanently.

I also encountered one other anomaly I am not sure how to deal with... the last bolt in the bottom yellow arrow below already has a threaded bolt on the backside
    F9DC93EA-B2CE-442E-B585-6BC75B9AF980.jpg

    threaded hole:

Not sure what to do with this one either.. thinking I’ll just bore it out... anywho FUN times INDEED

Maybe a dremel with a grinding stone on it.

I noticed that several of the bottom holes had threaded nuts pre-welded in. However, they were small. Maybe 3/8". I ended up drilling out all of them, and using 1/2" grade 8 bolts with nuts, washers and lock washers. For rock sliders, anything smaller than 1/2" thick bolts just seems small.

I like your thinking, basically same thought process, but hardware provided is 3/8 just different threading.. either way, it has to go. Thank you!

I'm sure the 3/8 bolt is going to be strong enough as long as it's grade 8. I'm assuming all the manufacturers of bolt on sliders are using the same exact mounting method. I copied my design from Demello and they use the same holes.
