Does anyone have sliders with bolt-on, removable steps? And, I am not talking about the N-Fab steps as they are for the N-Fab bars, which are not sliders. I've found steps for sliders for Jeeps. But, is there anything for our trucks? Has anyone fabbed steps for sliders?

FWIW, I mounted @Pelfreybuilt sliders on my truck this past weekend. I bought them on here from @REEL SPEAR IT (thank you, sir!), but they were pretty much brand new.

The installation was uneventful: we chose bolt-on, but welding is also an option. I'll report back after I have a chance to use them off-road. So far, I'm really liking the look and feel of these.

A few pics (one before and the rest after):

Got these bad boys out on today. Loren @ First Choice Fab did me good. These things are stout! Exactly what I wanted. Better pics later.20180817_165613.jpg 20180817_165625.jpg 20180817_165529.jpg

I've been researching sliders for months now and I keep coming back to the @sdhq_offroad ones.
Nice points of contact on the frame, complete bolt on, and super stylee!
Just got to work up the courage to drop the gas tank some and wrench it myself...

If you have a DC and deep pockets....the best slider I've seen is made right here in CO. Golden.. Slee Off Road. Other than custom fab'd....show me a better one. Double dare...

No tank drop. I drove my truck until the gas light came on and just loosened the straps a little. Tank moved right out of the way. Easy install. I did it on my inclined driveway with a single jack stand.

Looks like $1400 to start. http://www.pelfreybilt.com/product/tundra-front-bumper/ They are really beefy, which is a good thing in the armor category. One of the guys from Pelfrey is on here from time to time (@pelfreybilt ); maybe PM him with any questions. They've been very responsive and great to work with.

I'm all for sliders at under a grand. Will probably get a custom made set from a place I know in Phoenix. Anything over grand is too rich for my blood

I have a 2 gen double cab. My search for rock sliders lead my to Rocky Road Outfiters. Super good people there. I just received them and installed on Thursday. Very stout. Headed to Moab now and other places to get them dirty. Very happy with them. These are the Super Rock Sliders with the kick out in the back. Also helps access the clips on my camper.

so many products! Hardly anyone shows straight side shots so a person can see how far back the slider goes. I really want to be able to stand on my sliders and reach into the bed of my truck. I also need the slider to be a step for the family. I'm thinking sdhq don't go back far enough for my step up into the bed but I have been unable to find a photo that confirms it. Demello look like the fit the bill but no kick out. Pelfrey are just too expensive. Do the allpro or hefty go all the way back so they can be used as a bed step?

Here you go, White Knuckle Offroad. Works perfect as a step for the family and the kick out is far back enough to step on to reach into the bed.

Do they make any sliders for 16 double cab that have a solid rail section that connects to frame. I saw some taco ones. Nice idea. Also any info if those bed rack systems can line up with a roof mounted rack if u need to put a ladder or long boards on top ?

And if they work with any bed cover. Not the one with shelves in it. Those won't work for me

Here’s a side shot of mine from Rocky Road. It is 6” shy of going to the wheel well. I can use it to step up and buckle my camper down without having to open the door. I am a little concerned that if I were to hit a rock just the right way, it’ll jam between the slider and wheel and I’ll have to break out the air jack. One can however reach into the bed but it would be better if it went back 6”. Mine is a double cab, regular bed.
