I was told you need to leave 2 threads when adjusting preload or you would have a loose spring at full droop. Looks like your ring is all the way up. Any issues? Is your driver side sitting a lot lower than the pass? Id like to get my front lower once and if my rear settles.

No issues. The springs still have tension on them at full droop. In theory you are right though, you don’t want the spring flopping around. With my shocks atleast they have tension no matter how little preload is on them.

And yeah, I have a lot more preload on the drives side from the passenger side. I had to go back and preload the driver side because I didn’t at first.

    Hope that helps man!

    Thanks amigo!

It’s a completely different one than what I originally started. It was a team effort between me and the guy who does the fab for the race team. We’re in the process of jigging them out so we can make some to sell.

Updated the main post with a new pic and what not.

Cool things coming from Dirt Laboratory soon too. Check is out on ig @Dirtlaboratory to be the first to know.

No real updates other than that. Been busy the last couple weeks getting ready for the San Felipe 250. We will be starting 3rd in our class which is sweet! I’ll be navigating the second half of the race, so wish us luck. Watch for the live feed! Hopefully we have a clean run and finish around 6:30 or so and you can see my ugly ass mug on your computer!

Just got back from San felipe, we were running great until we weren’t. Got to go for a fun ride. Thankful for good safety equipment!

Where did you source the abs plastic? And how hard was it to cut, any chance I can get more pics.. looks great and I'm in the same boat as you.. rather not spend 5x as much and just have my fab guy design something simple

Haven’t updated this thread in forever! Hoping to have some time to do so. Been changing some things up and slowing down on mods to focus on paying this puppy off way early

In the mean time - factory battery took a shit. Went ahead and got an Odyssey and used the SDHQ hold down to mount it!

Yessir! Looking at the math and if I stick to a budget I should be able to pay it off in 7 months. So shooting for that. It’s my only debt and I hate debt lol.

Mixed things up a bit. Cut off the push bar and sold the 30” ONX bar. Then made a new valence. Been thinking about this for a bit. Really like the simple look right now. Will probably add some SAE squadrons at some point, but have plenty of light for now. Love this bumper and how clean the lines are.

Gonna take a pause from pushing hard to pay this pig off and get a little work done. Dropping the truck off Monday for a couple upgrades, super excited!

Hey boys. The wife is starting to push a little more for the transition to the Tundra. I know a few of you have made the switch here, so I'm starting to get ideas.

Good to see you over here man!

cant beat the room of the tundra. Not to mention it gets the same mpg as a taco but with a v8, and can handle a rtt without sagging haha.

How soon you thinking? New or used?

Not sure yet. We are starting to look at travel trailers again and anything that I can fit in, the taco won't pull easily. Probably new.

We saw a beautiful 3rd gen Tundra at Press Coffee this morning at 32nd and Shea. It had the SDHQ treatment with tasteful glass and bypasses all the way around. It was Super White with gold Methods.

I'm just not sure if I'm ready to drop the coin on a tundra though. My taco runs great.

But if I'm honest, the kids don't fit anymore.

Sounds like Christian’s truck I believe. I forget his used name on here.

yeah they are really roomy. Your welcome to come check mine out if you want to get into them without dealing with a dealer. Also welcome to drive it around or whatever too!

they tow amazing too. I had to tow roughly 8k and the trailer breaks werent working. About 150 miles and did great. Obviously brakes would have been ideal, but it wasn’t uncomfortable.

I really don’t have any issues with this truck, I like that it is electronically simpler than other half tons, and for what you get it’s really a better deal.

let me know if you want to come roll it around sometime!

Got my loaner for the day or the next couple. Tough pill to swallow when the loaner is a cooler truck than your own

Got my truck back from SDHQ this afternoon. Had them install a set of their new trac bars. Cool to be the first customers truck they were installed on

Man, these things not only look awesome, but feel awesome. I immediately can feel a difference in the truck. It feels so much “tighter” from a stop with no axle wrap. I didn’t even realize how much difference it would make with no load. I’m excited to tow as well because that’s really only when I thought it was happening. I guess with these leafs it was happening a lot though, feels like I gained 20hp!

awesome product and super happy! If you have RXT’s or deavers, or if you tow, I think these are a must have.

Nice and Clean. Not too much loss in clearance for a lot of gain in handling.

Honestly yes. It feels so much more solid off the line. Feels like I’m putting more power down which sounds stupid I know, but feels so solid. I would do it again in a heartbeat, and the intro pricing is awesome.

As of 12/22, she is SOLD!

Thanks to the homies on here for the good times. I’ll be around from time to time, but for the foreseeable future there won’t be any Toyotas in my driveway.
