Alright gents, how about some suggestions for some better headlight bulbs.

I’m fine with the output of the current lights, but I hate the color of the halogen bulbs (dumb, I know). I don’t really want to get different housings at this point in time, so I’m looking at some LED bulbs.

In my original post I linked some Phillips bulbs. I found a good review of them on tundra talk and they don’t appear to spill a ton of light. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

I HATE the oracle bulbs that i had in mine, they scattered light so much. Stefen has a drop in HID kit, I ended up going back to stock

I’m interested in your thoughts on the RTs and the Tundra. We have them in 37. I’ll reserve my opinion until you have some time to run them. Did you choose 18s for the offset options?
Looks like the build is gonna be bad ass!

I will keep you posted! Yeah, 18’s just to get the offset to make it easier to clear the 35s with minimal lift.

Yeah we had to go all Angry Beaver on our body mount to clear the 0 offset 37s on 2” lift.

I’m stoked to see you going the low and mean route. :benchpress:

Question for all you crewmax guys. What solution to you prefer to get some back seat storage? I think I’m probably just leaning towards the ESP buckets, but I wanted to see if you all have found anything else you prefer over this.

At the time they only offered the plastic and the lockable buckets, so I went with the plastic and its worked great! However, now that the new long box is available I wish I would have waited, mainly because its one big compartment giving more storage options.

    Dude what - that's awesome!

What part of that are you involved in? I've been wanting to connect with a local team and volunteer in the pits or something to start getting involved. It'll probably be a couple years till I can fund a car, but want to start getting connected with a team. We were supposed to go to Parker last weekend, but my wife just had eye surgery and the dust was a no-no per the Dr.
