The picture you showed was my inspiration, yes it works. I’ve got a BajaDesigns s2sport and works great.
Shout out to @PNW_Husky for the original pic!

Looks good! I was "planning on doing the same" until it snowed and I noticed the snow completely covered the recess in the rear bumper. .so the aux light would be covered by snow for 7 months of the year... i'm currently just holding true with my HR reverse bulbs and they work very well but show a LOT of glare in the camera...for now, I'll contemplate another route...

Wonder if you could build a cover out of some thin sheet metal or something, anyways it helps to have that light when it’s dark dark.

Are there any glare or light issues with the backup camera?

I really don’t notice any. Just well illuminated. The bd sport is their (work/scene) light beam, which is like a flood.

I still haven’t pulled the trigger to do this, but now it’s even more tempting with the photos you’ve shared. Nice work!

Ok I went dizzy reading this [did several searches]..........I just want to get a better reverse light bulb for my existing tail light for 2007 Tundra. Are there suggestions for a better backup light bulb? I don't want to add additional lights or do anything but replace the existing bulb with something brighter.
