Not right now. I will try to take some tonight. Not overly fond of them hanging off bumper but did not want to cut bumper. They have a lower profile than the hitch so they should be fine. Initially thought floods would work better than spots but the spots work well.

Looking at the S2 Sport pair for reverse light only, what would be the best pattern?

If they are going to be mounted low on the vehicle the Wide Cornering pattern would be best. If they are mounted up high our Work/Scene pattern will provide more usable light.

This was the lowest profile solution that didn't envolve me cutting into the bumper. Just a couple eBay/Amazon specials.

I bought them awhile back and had them on my old super duty, just got around to installing them a little over a week ago. I got them from eBay, brand is u-box, but I'm pretty sure they are just a generic light that several companies put there name on as I have seen the same lights with different names on them. I have also seen them on Amazon under more than one name, but they are a 7" slim flood pattern led light.

Here some links to the same lights without the u-box name.
    On amazon
    https://www.amazon.com/OLS-Ultra-Slim-Single-1530lm-Waterproof/dp/B06XHXLMYT/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1510788424&sr=8-4&keywords=7"+slim+led+bar&dpID=51oTMJYe3FL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

    On eBay
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-7inch-C...ash=item5d5fa8a87b:g:EMMAAOSwxN5WYSjo&vxp=mtr

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/7-18W-Ultr...ash=item28401c1d16:g:3lcAAOSwTLlZwcmy&vxp=mtr

I had to fabricate one bracket because the bracket to mount the outside of the light needed to be 1.5"-2" longer than the one that came with it. The inside bracket, I just drilled and tapped M6x1.0 a hole into the hitch and put a bolt in, the outer bracket I used a short self tapping screw to mount it to the metal support for the bumper step.

How did you wire these up? Splice into reverse lights or use a relay?

Looking to do something very similar. Thanks.

I just tapped into the reverse + behind the 7-pin plug and grounded the lights to the frame with a self tapping screw.

Has anyone considered installing a single flush mount reverse light to the right of the license plate? When I looked this weekend, it looked like there would be room to mount on here. Seems like a non-intrusive place to install some extra reverse lighting. See my crappy photo for example.

I went the flush mount route on mine. I had the same setup on my Tacoma, and it was great at night. Just need to finish the wiring, but it's all ready. Just need an hour or so to button up.

Where did you run your wire harness. Also what kind of lights are they.

I used those 7 inch slims in my tools box. Then the regular 7 inch pod lights under my bumper.

I'd seal them before putting them on. You get what you pay for.

Honestly I havent gotten them fully wired yet, but i'm just going to tap into the Trailer Harness that isright there. I've done it on most of my trucks, and never had any issues with LED Draw. I can try to snap a few pictures of it when I fully wrap it and make it look oem.

These are off of Amazon. I've used this exact brand before, without any issues. Like the comment above, I'd highly recommend sealing them. I pull them all apart and used some clear silicon to put them all back together. However, like I mentioned I've used these before. After 2 summers, and 1 winter plowing I had just started to get some moisture. But I never sealed that pair.

Mine wouldn't last more than 6 months and they'd die. I've swapped out my rear bumper lights twice. I just flex seal the crap out of them with some clear flex seal. Before that I would get like 30k out of them then they'd burn out or start flickering.

Definitely a project for this weekend. Does anyone know how to make is so when you put it into reverse the lights go on or do you just flip a switch at night.

Weird. Did you have them for reverse only, or as a pod "night light" setup? I wonder if they were getting too hot and melting the flex seal? I've never used that stuff, but I always used straight clear silicon.

On mine I pull the faces off. 6-8 small 4mm screws. Pulled it apart, and sealed all the gaps leading to the outside elements.

The first set was never flex sealed they couldn't handle the great mn weather. Forgot to mention that. They're a night light setup loading and unloading the trailer ect. I tried the flex seal stuff my silicon was in the truck and frozen at the time lol. I did use silicon on my toolbox lights. Super helpful when working all night.

    Bailey @Baja Designs,

I'm debating between the s2 in this mounting location on each side vs the "cyclops" squadron option mentioned in this thread. Do you have anymore pictures from different angles with this mounting location?

    Thanks,
    Jeremy

Unfortunately I don't have too many pictures of this setup. The pictures were shared from another member on here.

Not the best shot but here is an S2 Pro in Work/Scene mounted up high.

I want to mount in the bumper of my'15, will the "roll" in the bumper prove a problem for tightening down the lights? As it appears they will be aimed "down" a little, could one add spacers on the bottom to keep them pointed more straight back?
