Was already thinking that. Another reason I'm looking for a "low profile" light. I'm also thinking 2 sets of S2s (Bailey's recommendation on PROS) will probably be my angle. I don't quite need your output but a similar bed rack install is more than likely my design than under, or in, bumper. I need a higher loft due to snow/mud road slurry, and like Joon said...i would rip them out from under the first trail day they see. I'm also not interested in cutting into my bumper (in case I decide to trade in later)

I don't know about the off roading issue, I know they sit about as low as the low side of the trailer hitch so unless he's bottoming out his truck when he's off roading, I don't think he will have an issue, that said, he could also mount these up higher on his rear bars, these are insanely bright, they are spot, not flood lights at 8400 lumen. I call them the retina burners for the tail gating lawn mower (think slammed out civics painted in highlighter marker colors) drivers behind me.

My rear bumper corners took some good hits already.. Actually my rear bed step ripped off-and that actually sat really flush like the led's @csuviper just posted. The corners are prone to trail damage.

This is my reasoning for bed rack mounting. I've already done enough damage to things underneath. If I could mount my headers up there I would......

The ones I suggested, regardless of where you mount them, they also sell mounting kits that have a unique wrench for, sort of like wheel locks.

Those rack mounted lights were really cool when I was following @GodlessPro through tons of dust. His are amber and at one point I asked him to turn 'em on so I could see him through the dust and not run into him. We were driving directly into the setting sun with tons of dust and visibility was about 10'. I mention this so you can plan how you want to switch 'em.

uh. no. stop. bailey is my resource. you can't have him. go find your own. besides, i used to live a block away from him. i've got dibs.

i'm putting squadron sports in the work/scene flood config into the rear bumper. should be plenty bright for reverse.
