Retrofit thoughts

I already went TRD Pro grille that's my favorite mod that I think made the biggest change in appearance haha

 

The top is like the stevie wonder of headlights.

 

El Stig is about 20 minutes away and they have some awesome photos of their work. I think I might pop by and see if I can save myself some shipping costs for the holidays.

Wouldn't have been possible without this thread. His Ironman projectors and shrouds look awesome. I'm sure we could toss some different colors in there.

 

Lucky you! They're still about a 10-11 hour round trip for me. I figure the time and gas money I save might as well ship out. I got a thread out asking about a Bay Area local that can do this and only one person responded with a place in Chino ... I figure they were speaking of El Stig.

@eledobleu , I know you must be out enjoying your holiday weekend, but I hope you'll see this or the message I sent you via the Retrofit Wholesale website. I'm dying to get the ball rolling on this ...

Thanks! Budget D2S with "Bullet" shrouds painted 2016 040, matte black bowls, and gloss black surrounds. Working on a "build" thread right now, actually, even though I'm almost done for the foreseeable future..

I used a combo of flat and gloss and added halos to break up all the black

Mine are from eledobleu. They are the budget retrofits with the shrouds painted to match the truck.

 

Looks like a Win Win to me! Don't think you could go wrong with any choice you make.

 

Morimoto switch backs but I didn't wire for the amber. They are not on in the last photo and match the 5500k bulbs fairly well with a nice clean white when they are both on. The reflectors are tinted

Got my retros today, @TRD15559 was my inspiration I think for now I have the only Tundra with this retros in NW Arkansas, @eledobleu did a great job. For now I'm just cleaning them up and looking for a good place for the ballast I think I figured the right place used the Velcro patches. Weather isn't so friendly at this time to install them in my truck.
