Retrofit Headlights 2014-2021 2.5 Gen!!!!

Hi everyone,

Up for grabs is a set of custom retrofitted headlights for a 2.5 Gen Tundra 2014-2021. I used them for a little under 6 months on my truck and these are paint match cavalry blue and blacked out behind the projector(unfortunately my truck is cement gray). These lights are in excellent condition and just had new 80mm Morimoto halos and 12" Morimoto led strips installed! These also have a yellow chasing amber that can be wired up to your turn signals! I bet! It’s usually the case with paint matched stuff, never looks as good as it does in person.

 

For those that dont know Lexus projectors are considered the best in the world. I retrofitted some LS460 projectors in my last car (which are considered the 2nd best in the world right behind the LS430 projectors) and its ridiculous how much they light up the road.

I currently have the Morimoto version 2 Tundra headlights and although they are great they are no comparison to the LS460 conversion.

I second the post above about the Lexus projectors. I had a second gen set of headlights with Lexus LS 460s with no other bells and whistles. Running CBI bulbs and oem Toyota ballasts.

looks good. Excuse my ignorance, are these better than the OEM toyota Tundra's trd pro LED head lights? what is the advantages of these over the stock LED ones? I am super curious because the price of these seem to be well over the stock LED head lights (I got mine for around 1k for the pair), and I am guessing they are greater lights given the price point?

Hey King,

Well these blow the stock OEM Pro Headlights out of the water when it comes to output! Lexus projectors are some of the best they make when it comes to output and cutoff! You can take my word for it or you could contact (www.theretrofitsource.com) and ask for yourself about some recommendations for good projectors! Also these come with top of the line Morimoto Bulbs and ballasts, all top of the line stuff! Given the price point as well to get a set of headlights built from stock housings then paint matching them doesn't come cheap and its time consuming.

Dang man these should be gone! I hope people know that these lights will be brighter than the OEM Toyota LEDs, and brighter than the Morimoto headlights that everyone pines over. These HIDs will be brighter than any LED headlight, and have longer throw. Good luck with your sale!

 

Right!!! I would have thought I would have sold them by now but the paint match is making it difficult.... But they are super bright for sure! Lexus Projectors are no joke when it comes to brightness!!!! Thanks!!

 

Have you given thought to cracking them open to change the color for a buyer?
