    Purely going on looks, it's a hands down win for the Mach E. It simply has a better look. Now, that doesn't mean the Tesla isn't faster/longer range/more aerodynamic or whatever other metric you might use to say it is "better" but it loses in the looks department.

    any redeeming qualities the Mach E may possess are nullified by the blasphemous use of the Mustang name.

    they should have re-used the Pinto name.

    It's no more of a misnomer than Tesla acronyming "S3XY" for theirs.

    While I agree that old names are abused for the sake of engaging the popularity of previous vehicles, that doesn't negate the looks. Prim example, the Dodge Chargers of the last 10 years. Decent looking cars. Absolute travesty to put the Charger nameplate on it.


    Also, the Mach E is a better representation of the Mustang Brand than the stretched-out-tempo-pretending-to-be-a-mustang fox bodies.

    And the S3XY nomenclature is pure genius

    that took forethought and imagination

    Which FORD clearly does not possess in the lazy naming of an EV. Only to make fools buy it thinking they are part of an ICE legacy

    name it the pinto, then.

    I really think they should have just called it the Mach E. It's not as "sacred" as Mustang, and just implies it's quick and electric.

    I'm more bothered that it's a 4 door. EV is quickest off the line. Makes sense to move the sport cars to that platform, in a twisted and sick kind of way.
