Replacing the water pump- how hard?

The Zerex I bought said not to add water. Or are you using that to flush to system? I was amazed at how much crud/debris was in my drain pan after I drained the coolant. No idea what it was. It took just over 3 gallons of Zerex to fill it back up.

 

I think i also need to do a long travel suspension, rear leafs, bigger tires , and other maintenance since i got the hood open right ?

 

I usually buy the concentrate instead of pre-mixed.

 

Absolutely!!!!! It will be much easier to do since you have the radiator out already!!!!

 

Curious if you took the front body off the trk for changing out the water pump?

 

It was 'Hard' for days.

 

Nah. Just the stuff I listed. The suspension and tires take second priority behind mechanicals.

But if you insist. Hoot!

 

While you're at it, long travel opens up some space to make header install easier.

Just take your time with it and triple check your work. You got it.

 

Remember there are videos on YouTube that can show the way if things start appearing dicey. Take a break and check them out when you feel over your head in the matter. The breather and instructions are sure to clear your mind of any apprehension.
