Recently bought a 2004 Tundra Limited with only 37k miles on it. Love driving it but wish it was a little better on gas. One of the catalytic converters has gone bad and I need to replace it. Is it necessary to replace both converters or can I just replace the bad one? Thanks greatly for any help.

Unless you know specifically why your converter went bad, and can trace it to a single head gasket, piston ring, fuel injector, oxygen sensor, et.al. I would replace both at the same time.
