    Hi -

    I've got a 1st gen 4x4 access cab w/ 5" tuff country lift (https://www.suspensionconnection.com/55905.html).

It has 2 4.5" tall cylindrical spacers that live on top of my current shocks/coils.

Can I get taller shocks and springs (e.g. from a 3rd gen) to replace the stock shocks and those spacers?

The truck has a winch, sliders, and topper so the curb weight is about 5,000 lbs already.

Hey man, I just stumbled onto your question. I know it's and older post but I was in the same boat. This is the route I took. That stupid spacer is the weak point in this lift.
