rephrase the question 2017 Tundra Trailer Connectivity

    Thanks for the info. Much appreciated. Sorry to keep beating a dead horse but maybe I'm not explaining my issue correctly. The COMPUTER on my Tundra does not sense the trailer...ie...I hook up and plug in...The dash screen(data screen on Tundra) says NO Trailer. I go thru the Display sequence... No Trailer. Supposedly a light is to come on informing me I have a trailer connected to the truck? Thanks in advance for any idea's.

    The system you're referring to is the factory trailer brake controller.

    Your boat trailer doesn't have an electric brake system so there's nothing for the truck to "sense" that there's a trailer connected.
