Maine is the worst. Mine currently is $115, but a brand new 2020 Tundra would run you close to $1000.

It's around $70 for 2 years here in MO but we get this stupid Personal Property Tax at the end of the year, paid around $1200 for my Tundra and the wife's Highlander. It started out being for roads and bridges but has turned into school tax, around 90% of it since they can't get the votes to increase the real estate tax, there's no voting on Personal Property but some state reps are trying to change that.

Interesting. My house insurance is about $1100 a year, plus my wifes car insurance for 2007 yaris another $1000. Were close to $4000 for everything. Minus property tax, another $3000.

$161.50, which includes the extra fee for my EMT plate. I've wondered why Fire can get their plates for no extra charge, but EMS has to pay for theirs.

Edit: Also, in NY registrations are for two years, so it works out to $80.75/year for me.

I knew states would tax differently, but I'm amazed how different things are. Property tax assessments on vehicles? Nuts

Yup, when I bought my 2014 SR5 DC 6.5' bed I paid about $567 for registration fees. I couldn't believe it as it costed more than my truck payment. Glad I live in Texas now.

Same here. I'm amazed the citizens allowed this. Here in TN they raised our gas tax last year. It was the first time in 25 years. The increase only came out to around $40 per year(for me) and people still raised hell. If they tried to pass a property tax here we might burn down the Capitol.

Aint that the truth. We don't get no respect. :)
Yeah, its really eye opening. And scary. I could literally not afford to even drive in some of these places. We don't even have sales tax here and all my vehicles have permanent registration at this point so I won't have to pay another dime to the statists for them as long as I keep them.

In Maricopa I just paid $517 for my ‘17 CM TRD 4x4 SR5, looks like yours. It’s even white. (Fastest color made)
I just bought mine so maybe there’s add on crap with the first registration after buying? Dunno...
