My 23 Tundra TRD Pro has an OEM black and red insert "TRD Pro" tailgate insert with the chassis color being 'pearl white.' I wanted to go with all black as I find the red to be a bit much.

Does anyone have any pointers on how to safely remove the 'TRD Pro' sticker insert?
Was thinking of a heat gun and some 'Goo Gone.'

    Many thanks.

I tugged at a corner of mine just to see and it felt like it would come right off without a heat gun. I’d try that first. Goo Gone will handle any residue left behind.

Had a similar question about the dealership sticker on my tailgate. I would like to remove it but don't want to damage the paint.

I used it to remove my TSS bed decals and gummy residue from debadging.
Several Youtube videos show you how to use it..
Just pay attention to the RPMs on the drill.
