Hey team I hope all is well :) the mrs has had her truck for about 2 or 3 weeks now :)

im still in new zealand and have not see the new truck yet :( but cant complain as summer is epic :)

still looking for any column shift mods (its so long and ugly lol) let me know :p :D

    couple quick things

her truck has a slight high pitch whistle when accelerating on the highway. the internet seems to things its the filter on the throttle body so i was going to by one without the filter on it and put that in.

there is a tiny tiny squeak when its a cold morning and put the truck into reverse for the first time. I was told we just need a little geese behind the break pad?

all the interior lights dont work. have done everything with the switches. on, off, door ect. bed light works. im a summing its this fuse problem.

The main point the 2 inch leveling kit :)

I think the level looks super cool but the truck rides a little stiffer then our old 2010 sr5 trd off road and the mrs can deal with it but im sure we would like the ride a little softer

she has 2 horses and she will trailer them around and ride pretty much every weekend

and well shes really short lol 5 foot 0 and has super short legs and pretty much has to climb into the truck even with the running boards

so for all of that we were thinking of taking it to the bros tuck guy and getting the kit taken off

what do you think? worth taking off? how much should it cost to remove?

thanks team have an epic day :)

A little of this and a little of that.

From what you written here I would def take off the spacer lift. I just had the spacer lift removed from my truck but for different reasons. It shouldn’t cost anymore than $150 to remove. Make sure you have them give you the parts back so you can resell if you’re into that kinda thing.

As far as the lights, I think you’re correct in assuming it’s the fuse(s). I replaced mine with all LED’s and haven’t had any problems with it for 2.5 years now (knock on wood).

    Good luck!!!!!

There are 2 fuse panels to check. Under hood and under dash on drivers side above e-brake

For the lift, if you like it, good cheap solution would be replace with bilstein 5100s, you have 3 height settings, more improved ride over the spacers.

Take it off and sell the spacer like 040Tundra said. Bilstein 6112 might be your cheapest choice if you want the level with a better ride quality
