They're definitely a killer. A lot steeper that we are used to. Been moved in for a week and already had two kids and dog fall victim to them.

Great job! Usually, the cost of asbestos removal alone is enough to turn me away from fixing up an old home from the 19th century or early 20th century. Did you blast the mold with dry ice to get rid of it or just replace it?

That’s pretty awesome man! We also have an 1800s farm house that was redone in The 60s. I want to gut it and start over but my wife and a sentimental about it since she spent a ton Of time there as a kid. I probably am not going to win that fight.

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
What's even more impressive is that your marriage survived this project. Well played, sir. Well played.

    This absolutely inspiring!
The house has amazing character and I'm sure it'll give the kiddos many awesome memories, I cannot wait to see some pictures of the Tundra out exploring the 80 acres! That's a big playground!

Funny, my daughter and I we pulling up her old flooring in her house and newspapers were used around the perimeter for the original flooring. The newspapers were legible and she said Dad when was Roosevelt president and I said in the 40's she said no the earlier Roosevelt I said the 1900s, the papers were from the early 1903. Come to find out the house was built in 1901. It's a Victorian in Eureka, CA, neat old house!
