This is the lake right in front of our camp site.
It stretches to the left about a 1/3 of a mile.

That's pretty cool! Pricey I bet. But if you enjoy the performance then it's worth it. I reload .454 Casull as well and yes, I enjoy the performance.

Darn, what a horrible problem to have!!
Yeah, I've got a range 5 miles from my house. 15 bucks and shoot all day. I've burned through 150 rounds of my handloads.

I bought a bunch of 1 pound containers of the IMR 4007 SSC powder after the new and improved version came out. The price was right and my 22-250, 223 and 222 all loved it and then that batch was recalled. In it's place I got 3031 but instead of sending 10 individual 1# jugs, I got one 8# and two 1#. I hate to open that big 8 pounder.

So who makes the brass? Starline? Or if you make your own, what is the parent cartridge?

Skipped through a lot of this. RCBS partner press kit. Has a great press, digital scale, good start. I’ve gotten Lee products and they work fine with RCBS.

    It's Starline.
    It's simply a longer case.
The rounds are just short enough not to stick out past the cylinder.

Yeah that makes sense. I was thinking of a straight walled case that would work but couldn't think of any.

Oh wow! This is awesome! Thank you so much. I'm gonna bookmark this and start piecing it all together little by little. Really I think I'd mostly just be reloading 9mm.

    Appreciate all this info

You are so welcome. Happy to help. When you start setting up your press and dies, let me know. I'll give you some pointers.
Wanted to add, you'll need small pistol primers for the 9mm.

You have to use Moon Clips to keep the proper spacing.
At first I hated the damn things but after awhile I looked at em like a magazine.

They would still fire but you had to push out the empties with a stick or whatever you had on hand.

Yep, I've always liked them. Just something about the simplicity and sort of old school feeling the have. That being said, I can't stand half moon clips. Seems like they were invented to frustrate the hell out of me. Ha ha ha

What really sold me on em was how fast you can reload.
With a little practice it only takes a couple seconds with the Moon Clips.
And they have the device that goes on your belt to hold em fully loaded.

    Yeah...
    The FNX is incredible!!
It jammed on me one time when I was shooting some shitty white box ammo.
Other than that it's been flawless.
