You know, there's a segment of the market that seems to have gone completely ignored. While every fab company is coming out with these wild, huge, bad-ass bumpers, nobody that I've found has taken into account that many of us park our trucks in our garages. If a company came up with a front & rear bumper that took up 1" of space or less than the stock bumpers, but added features that we're looking for, they'd have an instant hit and be able to offer something nobody else does.

This is what I'd like to see in a front bumper:
    • Space for an integrated winch. It's important that this doesn't stick out further than the bumper itself.
    • Recessed shackle mounts, and/or slots for stock tow rings to fit thru. It's important that these don't stick out further than the bumper itself.
    • Cutouts for at least two light pods/fog lights & sensors
    • Rugged enough for serious off-roading (needs to be able to take shots from large rocks)
    • Wide enough to cover fender flares
    • Pre-drilled holes for license plate
    • Optional: Skid plate
    Rear bumper:
    • Recessed shackle mounts
    • Cutouts for at least two light pods, sensors, stock license plate light housings, and trailer connection
    • Space to retain stock trailer hitch
    • Pre-drilled holes for license plate
    • Recessed corners that can be used as a step
    • Tough enough for serious off-roading (needs to be able to take shots from large rocks)

I 100% agree with you. All the bumpers im looking at are bulky. I like a spiced up stock look. with these kind of bumpers you have to widen the truck to make it look proportionate.

Any thoughts on a lower profile plated bumper? Baja-ish still able to accommodate winch.
Or possible hybrid- tube/plate if that brings any ideas to mind?

Don't think we do, but let me double check and see what I can put together.

Unfortunately a winch bumper that sticks out 1-2" over stock isn't very realistic. The radiator isn't too far back from the bumper which limits winch mounting. Having the bumper stick out slightly will give you added protection. We do our best to make the bumpers not stick out too much as it doesn't fit our design style and is really unnecessary.

We primarily focus on plate bumper designs so having a pre-runner or hybrid bumper is not really in the cards for us at this time.

Hope you guys can get one in sometime within the next year, as that’s when I’ll be looking for one. Love the job you guys did on the 3rd gen bumper.

Agreed - would like a good looking 3 hoop on the truck. ARB is growing on me, but I'd rather not add 2 feet to the front of the truck.

We will post up when we get one in. Hopefully a local Tundra customer stops by the shop

They do, but the install requires bending the power steering cooler lines that sit in front of the radiator. We prefer not to bend them which forces the bumper to sit out a little further.

For anyone on the fence, these are seriously stout bumpers. I loved mine since the day I mounted it. I fit a Warn ZEON 12k on the bumper; you do need to get the Warn control box relocation kit though.

Unfortunately no updates at this time. Slammed with current projects and a little short handed, but will hopefully have information available soon.

Unfortunately we haven't been able to locate photos of a cement Tundra with our bumper. If a cement comes along I'll post it here.

Here are some other shots of different trucks running our front bumpers.

I didn't see mentioned but I'm sure I missed it.

    1) will either of these work with tss?
    2) can we get round light buckets? I'd much rather throw my baja designs squadrons in there or will a squadron fit in there?

Nice bumpers! But nothing for a 2nd gen? Anyway, i just today received my MOVE bumper for the front. Cant wait to have it welded up and put it on.

Our Stealth Bumper shouldn't have any interference with the sensor behind the grille. Unfortunately the tube of the Defender Bumper will most likely interfere with the system. It crosses the grille right about where the sensor is located.

We only off Square for this truck, but if you contact @Baja Designs they can sell you Square bezels for their squadrons. It's a quick change if you need to convert them.

At this time the only option for the Second Gen is to run our 2014+ bumper and keep the valance below the grille.

Relentless is correct - you can quickly change the light from Round to Square. Please give us a ring if you'd like to order different bezels.

That's disappointing. My personal opinion is that round holes would be more aesthetically pleasing for this truck. They would flow better as there arent boxy geometric designs in the body lines.
