Depends on how many trucks we get on the group buy. appx 1400 add for each locker no additional labor cost. if they run the electrical +300. so maybe 3100 upcharge for front and rear lockers wired.

know more when I get a call back.

they ran multiple group buys on TW before. Hundreds of tacos done if I'm not wrong already. I don't think they are very strict with the deadline from when I read about it last year.

@porkitt - you'll want to tag Keith if you are looking for his response.

I am not nearly as knowledgeable as him, but in my research before regearing, it was nitro as the front runner for 5.29s, but revolution was becoming the preferred choice because of how quiet they are. The nitros are known for being hit or miss on noise. IIRC, at the time, Yukon didn't have a 5.29 option and weren't as recommended for our trucks. Lots of threads about it to form your own opinion.

I think the powertrax LSD is where it’s at for the rear, and if you think you need a locker for if you’re really stuck offroad, put it in the front. The powertrax is awesome on road and locks up really in most situations off road aside from having a wheel off the ground. Combining it with auto-lsd probably makes it even more effective in that situation. It is so nice actually having traction pulling on wet roads and not even having to think about it or remember to push a button.

Interestingly... This place is just down the road from DeMello Off Road, so I could kill 2 birds w/one stone. However, it's just under 2k miles round trip for me :frusty: which by the time I factor gas and per diem for a few days not sure I'd be saving that much.

So, to answer your question, probably not... but I haven't definitively told myself no yet :D

No, unless you’re being very generous for Christmas this year! Lol. Otherwise it will probably just remain a “want”

I just had mine done by them a month ago. They had a special and included REM polishing for $2k. I went with 5.29's, but to be honest I can't tell any difference and my mpg's have not changed.
