I found a set of, he says PROFESSIONALLY rebuilt, front and rear Camburg shocks and new UCA's. What's a good price on these? Rebuilt just means new seals and fulid right? Anyway what are they worth?

@jberry813 you probably know the running price to rebuild and whats involved and estimate on what rebuilt shocks are worth.

    Metric shit ton of parts
    Camburg shocks = Sway-A-Way
Rebuild typically means all new seals, oil, and charged with nitrogen.

However, other parts are rebuildable and of concern. Wear bands, spherical joints, and especially pay attention to the shock shafts. SAW shafts have a tendency to chip and pitt.

Rebuild kits are about $35 bucks per shock. Oil is about $45 for a gallon (you can do 4 OE shocks with 1 gallon).

If you went brand new, you can get Kings for about $2k for coilovers and rear shocks
Used with a fresh rebuild I wouldn't pay more than $1400 for all 4.

you have to remember that sway way doesnt have a shock division anymore they sold it to i think afe or something like that yeah they cn be rebuilt and all but i sold my front sway aways with extended travel fronts and rears for like 800 to give you a baseline of what to look for the camburgs depends if they are ball joint or unibazl if unibazl you can be looking at a but of money to rebuild that thing if you want it like new. to tell you the truth many people say they service there uniballs but in all actuality they squirt some lube in them run them down the block and perfect when every couple months or so you really want clean them entirely like take off and clean. I have to agree with @jberry813 save the money price out some kings or fox's or even ads and spend your money on something you know to be new and safe.
