Normally, no, I don't like any decals or stickers of any kind. I've removed all the decals from the inside of the windshield and the dealer sticker from the tailgate. It all looks so cluttered to me.

However, I did make an exception for this sticker. It's from a restaurant in Key West. I go there every year, so it has some sentimental value. And the sticker is small, so it's not a bother.

Any advice on removing the dealer decal from the tailgate? I need to get that done asap before sun bake sets in.

Yes, but it's going to sound crazy lol. Take a razor blade (the replacement kind you buy for a razor knife) and VERY SLOWLY AND PATIENTLY slide it under each individual sticker in the decal. You'll need to hold the razor blade almost flat against the tailgate (almost flat, but still a bit of an angle so it doesn't slide against the paint), and then just shimmy it under the decal. Wiggle from side to side a bit until you get one of the corners up. Then you should be able to pull it the rest of the way off. Mine was the kind where each letter was an individual sticker, so I only had to use the razor blade for the corner of each letter and the rest of it pulled up. I know it sounds dangerous, but it works just fine. I've done it with my last three vehicles and have not scratched them once. Just be patient.

When you're done, use a shop towel/paper towel and some common rubbing alcohol from under your kitchen sink to remove any excess adhesive left behind.

I’m not usually a fan of stickers anywhere on my trucks. Except the inconspicuous spots... like a secret haha. But I am gunna have to break my rule with the tundras.com decal. Trying to figure where to put it. I was thinking windshield- but that gets replaced here and there. Somewhere on body- but I’m gunna be refinishing it soon. So looks like I might just have to do the rear window out of necessity :notsure: so far all of my stickers on my toolbox

I avoid stickers on my truck too. I did put a Yacht club sticker on the rear bumper 'cause it helps somewhat when parking at other yacht clubs. I did have to put this one on the rear window though.IMG_20180325_180110175.jpg

Probably the cheapest yacht club in Ca. Except maybe the Fresno yacht club.:anonymous: Besides it's a business expensive 'cause I have a captains license. Proof that just about anyone can get one.
