Hello all, my lift is getting installed and the installer just texted and said the trd sway bar
is for factory height so he can't install it. I'm wanting shackles at 1.5" Is this true?

I’m doing it at stock setting with 1.5” shackles and it works fine. Instead of mounting on the bottom of the axle, they can rotate it up 90 degrees to the back of the axle, as many do, for lifts.

There are many that have it installed with a lift.

It will work. I’m using CB 3 which I think is 1.75. Just had them use some exhaust hangers with extra holes to adjust the exhaust and mounted the RSB with the u bolts parallel to the ground.

Mines installed fine with 2” shackles. The sway bar needs to be removed to do the install on the shackles tho.

I'm currently running front and rear trd sway bars on a bds 7" lift kit plus coachbuilder shim and shackle kit for total lift of 8.5" with no issues. They make a sway bar extension kit if you are going to high of a lift as well

Not sure lift is the issue. I heard the same from my trusted crew but luckily I have a good relationship with them and shared the posts here.

Should work. I’ve got Trd duals, 1.5” shackles and trd rsb. No fitment issues at all.

Where can I get the adjustable end links for lifted trucks? I think I'll need it as I'm almost 8" lifted

My sway is the stock red trd. Not sure the extension when I was ordering my bds 7" kit they asked me if I had a sway bar and they gave me the part I needed. Well at a cost I'm sure.. sitting at 8.5 total inch up front and about 8 3/4 in rear and they still work with the extension for the 7" lift they sent me

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
I’ve had a 1.0” block and Boss Toytec rear shocks /w reservoirs
    2.5 lift in front
TRD sway bar and it worked without any modes to the sway bar kit.

No the rear has alot of movement and can be adjusted on it's own quite a bit so I dont think it's as necessary as the adjustability of the front

I was under the impression the bar and the end link junction should be at a 90 degree angle.

Not sure the exact specs. But since I had the bds 7 kit installed I've since installed shackles for additional lift. So that could be the reason its not lined up as well as it should? I havent noticed a difference tho so it doesn't worry me any

I've seen ppl move the bar from the bottom to the front of the axle. So the bar would be a little bit below the fill plug of the diff. That takes up some of the slack I think
