    Finally got mine installed ! 2-14-22 009.jpg

The bright red did not look right for my truck so I bought a random can of grey paint from lowes and it turned out to almost match my wheels..

I'm thinking it would be a good idea to re-torque everything after a few hundred miles..

What are your thoughts on how it drives after the installation?

Having thrown out all the install instructions for mine already........do you still have the torque settings? Good idea on retorques after a bit.

    Thanks in advance!

My honest opinion is it was the biggest waste of money as far as mods go. Very little difference. Others definitely have different opinions. Granted I’m already on toytec suspension and airbags. Might not be the best person for product review

I thought it did alot for driveability. The truck feels lighter and corners feel much more planted.

Stock for now, but have TRD Rear Sway bar for it.
I can honestly say it is a tremendous upgrade. I had a 2012 Platinum and bought the sway bar kit and installed it with 5100 shocks all the way around. So much better in the turns, flat and less body roll. I drive to the mountains a lot on twisty roads and the truck was much more planted.
Traded it in and bought a 2020 Limited Crewmax. I pulled the rear sway bar off the 2012 and installed it yesterday on the 2020. I have only driven around town a little, so can't say much better, but I did take a corner kind of fast to see and felt like less body roll. I feel it is a very easy and good upgrade. If you don't like it, someone will buy it. I recommend it highly.

I have not driven it yet. Roads here are an icy mess.

I am very interested in adding a sway bar to my 2013 Tundra. I recently purchased the truck with a rough country lift already installed on it. I youtube'd install videos and came across this picture of an install. The guy didn’t attach the sway bar to the bottom of the axle due to his lift. I believe I will probably encounter the same issue. He ended up attaching the sway bar to the back of the axle. I’m attaching picture for reference. My question is, if it is attached this way would it still function properly?

I’m guessing there is a reason Toyota designed it to go under the axle. I can see in that photo that mounting it that way will push the end link bars back. Ideally you want those bars as plumb as possible. My guess is very small difference if any in performance.

I believe you can get longer custom rear sway linkage bars
