Thanks for the feedback! I was looking at the Wheeler's AAL as well. Im curious to hear how it works out for you. This rear leaf "expansion pack" from Icon also caught my eye.

I looked at that aal also but wasn’t thrilled about the 1.5 of lift. I figured the single leaf will probably net me a bit less.

What about the TRD Sway bars? And the Bilstiens?

Yes! I'm also curious the effects these have on the loaded, towing, and unloaded driving!

Actually, I have a TRD Sport and it has the bars factory installed. I was curious if mods had to be done to add the air bags?

Air bags, ARK liners, misc bullshit added also
Nope, the sway bar does not interfere with the air bags at all

What shackles are recommended for 1-2" of additional lift? I know All-Pro used to have them for Tundra.

I'm also looking for more payload capacity without the extreme sagging our trucks have. Considered airbags but dont want the complexity. Has anyone used Sumosprings?

I have the black sumosprings on my '16 trd o/r. They aren't a substitute for airbags. What they will do is keep you from feeling that hard hit when you compress your rear leaf springs and impact your factory bump stop. With an unloaded truck, they sit a hair under the frame, but close enough that you can't slide your finger between them. They have a bit of give, but are very supportive and I don't even notice them. Where they excel is when I tow my 3000+ pound pontoon boat. I don't know my tongue weight (possibly 300#), but when hitched up, I see much less sag and the truck is truly level. I have 2" Fox 2.0 coil overs in the front and no lift in the back. This leave my unloaded truck at 1/2" rake.

You don't notice a firmer or rougher ride with the Sumosprings? Although airbags excel when hauling a heavy load, I've heard that they can really degrade the ride quality, especially off-road.

I had bags on my Tacoma, couldn't tow that boat without them! They were noticeable even when aired down to 5psi. Honestly, I can't even tell the sumo's are there, and I don't "bottom out" anymore.

Awesome, those seem like a good compromise then!
