More for the family and just being around that area. Idk if I would ever move back to any of those areas. The places I would move to I def couldn't afford lol.

I don't think anybody wheels their Tundra hard enough to need a diff skid anyway. Has anybody broken Tundra Diff from actual off-roading? Pics or it didn't happen. :p

Haha! True story. I've dragged my diff on rocks many times and my drive shaft has lots of swirlies.

You have to wheel some pretty crazy rock gardens to need a diff skid.

    https://youtu.be/z8yHLv1pCjc

I didn't even damage it there but I dragged it a lot

It's cheap insurance. I've had my rear diff on the ground a few times, 0 movement and full throttle. Sorry no pics.

If it was on the ground you need more clearance - better go to 40's ;)

Need to see CAD...I'm on the fence on this one. I would have possibly bought one from RCI. RCI is only a few miles away from me. Not sure why they didn't make one. All their current skids are high quality and would expect the same for a rear diff skid.[IMG]

Unless their diff skid ended up like their 38gal fuel skid, but that is another story.
