Ranch Hand is the only way to go in my opinion although lots of nice USA made bumpers to choose from. I definitely won't buy cheap Chinese EBay bumpers anymore.

Thanks, I thought it was too good and I was right. That's why I asked.

I had an ARB on the front of my '94 80 series and loved it. I don't want to spend 1700 on this one, 1000 is ok for the Ranch hand front.

    Thank you Black Wolf!

I was surprised how beefy and a damn good looking bumper.

Build one. So far I’ve spent $140 and this bumper made the truck feel better it’s so solid. :smokertransformer:

Yeah, ARB's are hard to beat but pricey. Ranch Hand toughness hard to beat too. I bought a KO bumper for the front of my 07. Chinese crap. Poor fitment and finish.

I found that seller. They have a 300.00 one in better condition and a front for 600. I asked them how much shipping for both would be.

I had never heard of Ranch Hand and really appreciate you telling me about them. I'm going to get both (eventually) The front will be depanding on
how much I can find it for and if that eBay seller is reasonable on shipping huge & heavy items.

I purchased this bumper knowing that I would modify it considerably to my likes/needs. I liked the overall simple design and the side steps as they are handy to get in a lifted truck. Be warned that any of these cheap bumpers will have poor quality powder coating. Mine was peeling off right out of the package, welds not the best, although this model does not have any exposed welds, they are all in the back. All the front weld joints were ground smooth, however they just weld enough to create a solid bumper. Some of the joints are left just butted together which will not hold up here in Wisconsin winters, salt will get in any crevice and start rust.
I had mine sandblasted right out of the box, so that I had fresh clean steel to work with. I just dropped it off at my powder coaters and will post pictures when it returns. May be a while as they get quite busy.
There are pictures of it installed at this thread https://www.tundras.com/threads/2nd-gen-rear-bumpers.9180/page-3#post-1326198. The one posted by Stainlesst is the same as the model I bought. Seems they vary with the license plate lighting, etc.

PO of my ‘13 had a ranch hand bumper. I like it. It is pricey (looked them up after I bought the truck) but I’ll tell you this, it wouldn’t get dented in the parking lot. It would probably take a full speed rear-end collision to dent it. Thing is solid.

    Looks great.

What did you connect the lights on the bumper to & do you have to splice into the license plate light harness to hook them up?

    Here's the dent.

The license plate lights each have a two wire plug to them, for aftermarket just cut off the plug and wire to the new license plate lights. The large lights in the bumper I splice into the reverse light harness so that they go on when in reverse. Depends on what you want to use them for.

This is the bumper I bought not too long ago. Rough Country.
1st bumper was damaged in shipping and rough country replaced pretty quick. Everything is pretty easy to install. Instructions need some corrections to be made and they need pictures to be more clear or in color. I put it on by myself in driveway in a couple hours. It has rear LED liscence plate lights that aren't shown in picture and you can put parking sensors in. So far it has been really good.

that is exactly where my dent was in my factory bumper plus the step pad on top was warped also.

The welds and general metal forming of the bumper in the OP do leave a lot to be desired, but I have yet to find someone on any online forum that has one to speak on it. It is clearly a Fab Fours premium rear bumper knockoff down to the mounting system. But for half the price.

If you look at the reviews on the ebay link in the OP, someone has taken pictures of the bumper they received.

It appears to use the factory license plate lights which is nice since you don't have to splice anything and you maintain the sealing of the stock light connectors. The DV8/KO Offroad rear bumper does legitimately look better manufactured, but you have to splice in the aftermarket license plate lights (and aux lights), making it hard to reverse to stock. Or find the mating connector. And if one of those LED license plate lights get damaged, I imagine getting a replacement would be difficult.

A decent fab shop should be able to straighten that.
