If you haven’t already might want to check your brake fluid. My mom took her Seqioua in to the dealership for an oil change. A couple days later she said her brakes were squeaking, went over and took a look and someone had topped off her master cylinder with brake fluid which wasn’t allowing the pistons to retract and causing them to drag.

I can see how that could easily be an issue. I just checked mine, and it isn't above the line. Appreciate it.

The brakes suck. I had complete brake failure on my ‘22 Pro about a year ago. Toyota unable to find a fix and replaced them.

I’m looking at a big break kit because the stock brakes are garbage.

+1. I changed to Porterfield 4S pads shortly after I bought my ‘23 because the brakes suck. I was hoping it would make a big braking difference like it has on other trucks I’ve had and I’d be able to post here about a great upgrade but no, no noticeable change.

So I’m also thinking about a big brake upgrade.

On the original post, it sounds like auto LSD. I’ll probably wear my rear pads out because the tires spin so easy in the Tundra even on dry pavement. Can’t wait for someone to come out with a rear limited slip upgrade for it.

I have the exact same 25k back-end brake experience, which is why I am searching this forum. 25k miles, front brakes look great, back brakes look extremely worn. I purchased the truck new, have not yet towed my boat, and have not been performing any crazy braking that would suggest that type of wear so early in the life of these brakes. I would like to know if there are potentially other reasons as to why this may be happening? Is it just a poor design for this new gen of Tundras?

Sounds really odd. I’ll have to get in there and see what they put in there OEM. Maybe very thin pads? I agree with others that the Dynamic Cruise uses way too much brake constantly slowing the truck but that wouldnt be much rear braking. Fronts get the most. Every truck and large SUV (2 Subs) I’ve had have gone over 100K on the rear and that’s with towing a 7K# trailer.
