Stage 1 Eibach lift is sitting next to me right meow as I type this....and next is rims. I've settled on SCS Ray 10's, but have two questions:

    1. Am thinking gunmetal or bronze, instead of matte black. What sayeth ye? Truck is Voodoo Blue so I think pretty much any of the colors would look sweet.
    2. I notice splines/extended spline lugs are sold as well. Would the lug nuts from my current rims (stock TRD Off-Road) not work? Obviously with a purchase of this size I want to make sure I get it right the first time, and get what's needed.

Color choice is up to you! I really wanted the dark bronze, as I think it’s better than any other manufacturer’s bronze tone. However, I have a Smoked Mesquite truck. The colors are too close, but don’t match. It would look like I tried, but missed. I think it would be great on just about any other color truck though!

I have a set of Gunmetal Ray 10s and 285/75-18s sitting in the shop for when I wear through my current tires. Having a hard time waiting…

    You will need new lugs!
Might also consider longer studs for at least the fronts, but not required.

Appreciate the input. I actually ended up going with the matte black for two reasons:

    1. My Tundra (Voodoo Blue) has the blackout package; so it'll end up matching just fine.
    2. While it doesn't happen often, from what I see, they do discontinue rims, it seems, and it'd be easy to repair/match matte black rims. Not so much with bronze. LOL

And yep, the lugs are on order. With that said, it'll be probably 2-3 months before I get them on, so I don't need the studs just yet. Got any you'd recommend?

This is copied from a message I got from another member here. Shipping on the studs is horrendous, but finding the exact right size locally has proven to be a big challenge for most.

Also order a stud installer from Amazonmakes it super easy. I also ordered extra cheap lug nuts just to use during install with the impact gun

Out of curiosity, what are they needed for? Are the stock studs not enough as is?

Am wondering if I need them for my use case (probably 90% driving on road; 10% on gravel roads, with the *VERY* occasional trip off-road).

In any event; the matte black SCS 10's are on order and shipping out today. :) It'll be a month or two before I have them installed (along with my lift kit/shackles), so I've got time to get the longer studs if needed.

    I’d pass for you use.
OEM is just a little on the short side.

Well now that you said something, I'll obsess over it. LOL!

On a serious note, if there's an issue, I'm sure I'll be notified of it when they're installed (will be having local dealership install the lift, because honestly they're the only ones I trust within about an hour radius), and if so, I'll obtain whatever's necessary.

Did you ever get your wheels mounted? If so, can you post a few pics? I also have a voodoo blue and I’m trying to decide between the black and gunmetal
