Good looking sliders. I'll be fabricating my own but I'm noticing that several have similar bolt on mounts, where there's much of the slider extending back without direct perpendicular support to the frame. Two questions:

    1. Since you're using what looks like 1/4 plate for the ladder, are these going to be prone to bending backwards towards the bed, if the front of the slider takes the initial hit? Any way to gusset these to prevent that?

    2. Since many want the wheel to wheel option, if that cannot be done due to structural issues to the frame, any way to add an inner gusset to the ends? Even a small one may help with an upward bend on the back end should you actually land on that back end. I also like the prior post about adding kick out, which it appears to have, but a small one. What about extending the kick out back another inch or two?

I am 6'3" and would make use of that feature.

Totally interested in these. I like the top plate. Very definitely interested in a group buy.
