Good it's over! My wallet survived the temptation. At one point there was almost $2600 in the cart. :boom:

Now sure why the codes aren't working, and nothing I can do about it at this time. Unfortunately, RCI is closed right now, and I don't think I'll be able to reach anyone about it.

At this time I'm going to take the codes down. If RCI decided to extend this through Monday I'll report the codes at the time.

I am guessing they had to send it to an outside contractor for powdercoat unless they do it in house. Hopefully you will get yours soon.

I am just gonna Raptor line mine myself. Got some used step bars too that I will Raptor line also. Unfortunately it has to be a little warmer outside for best results.

You had $2,600 in the cart so you don’t feel bad when you order half of it. :D

That's funny:D, but I can't do it brother. The temptation has passed. Man I wish I could have though, the whole truck would have been an RCI billboard after that. Will have to wait until next year.

Also I can't decide which way to go on the skids...aluminum or steel? I'm leaning steel cuz of how heavy the truck is but the weight

I’m going to order a RCI skid for sure, holding off on the Sliders (sadly)...My current skid is so damaged and will need bent with my new tires so it seems like a good time. Looks like diff drop hardware which I will need isnt an additional charge. Thanks for posting OP

:D Went with steel. The biggest reason I caved is because of the 38 gallon gas tank, it is so exposed it's scary, and many trips coming up. The deal was better combined with the skid package and now piece of mind. An like you mentioned, knock half of it out.

Feel like that steel weight is negligible..with my bed loaded and topper loaded what’s a steel addition weight worth of give a shit! I am going to decide on the sliders by 8pm tonight..I’ve ridden this fence so hard for so long. Time to shit or get off the pot

I still can't figure out which is stronger. The aluminum is thicker, lighter and more expensive.

Is Steel the better bang for the buck and stronger if weight isn't a concern? It seems to be.

I'd be looking at daily driving protection, gravel roads, light trails, no rock crawling.

According to @RollCage (post #146 in link below) steel is about 7.5% stronger.

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/rci-front-skid-plate-aluminium-or-steel.17543/page-5#post-880857

Seems like everyone agrees steel gives much less friction when in use sliding.

Wowsers! That was waaaaaaay over my head, but I'll buy the reasoning.

My concern was always the steel is thinner. But if it's stronger, that wouldn't matter

When the time comes (probably not this go round), I'll opt for the blk powder coated Steel

    Thanks for the link.

Canadian shipping isn't so friendly right now.

I'm hoping to time it at some point, when there is a sale and the USA/CAD border I'd actually open and safe for travel.
