Sorry to bring up an old thread, but for those with the 26 gallon RCI skid does the front seem to hang lower than the rear? Mine has a 1”+ gap in the front which looks like a bucket loader. It’s installed correctly, only thing I can think of are the brackets not being bent correctly.

Do you have any pics? 1 inch gap between the plate and the tank? Mine sits completely flat against the tank. I’m sure you’ve checked but is the front drivers side bracket that goes off the frame in correct orientation?

I’ll get a pic when I get home but yeah it’s very noticeable. I thought it was weird too as I think the bracket only goes on one way. Been a while since I’ve messed with it since installed.

Found a pic on my phone! Hard to see how low it hangs in front from the pic but the bracket looks installed correctly.

Yea that's pretty low! Bracket is installed correctly, I thought maybe they put too much of a bend in it but if the long bracket on the driveshaft side lined up then I wonder if the brackets were made longer for some reason.

yeah that’s what I thought as well, either brackets are too long or maybe need spacers in rear. Even removed the long bracket and jacked up the skid plate to see if I could bend that bracket… no luck goes right back in place. Here’s some better pics, standing further back it looks worse.

yeah I sent them an email today, just wanted to see some pics of others that had them installed.

Only solution I see is shortening the brackets by cutting and welding back together… maybe an hour or so project will update and see what they say.
