MIP screwdrivers have been great

 

Three of us bought these, they seem to work and have plenty of things in them!

 

Also have what’s left of my stainless kit (screws and fasteners) after my 700 dollar plus wipe out!!!

 

Got the e-clips for the Kraton and put it back together. Sounded a little clicky when I ran it. Evidently when the original clip took off, it took a tooth from the main gear with it.

 

now to figure out what the hell it is. I'm not seeing it in the parts breakdown.

 

Pull on it and make sure it isn’t sumtin that just got thrown in there?? I have never saw that before???

 

It was contained around the axle shaft so it must have migrated from the gearbox. I'm thinking it might be one of these.

 

In Live chat with Traxxas. He said it's a bearing sleeve.

Used to fly Cox airplanes way back when, loved it!! With those you can do dooo much more these days!! Always have had my eyes on a helicopter!

Did it come out of the housing where the shaft turns into the ball? Never seen that before but just wondering if it is a seal and that is why it is so greasy there

 

I won't know for sure until I tear it apart. Traxxas just said that it is a bearing sleeve.

The slash maxx body looks awesome. I do question if the maxx is just straight better still for the higher clearance running over terrain

 

i have the Maxx and the XMaxx. The Maxx is a beast! The belted tires for it should be shipping early March.

 

I was looking at the hoss, but the maxx appears to be better ugraded in every area

 

Yes the Maxx is solid. It's the Xmaxx mini.

 

Whats up guys i’m new in this thread. I have been out of the rc game for about a decade after i sold my Emaxx and my old HPI Rs4 nitro. I have had quite a few cars over the years and decided in December to buy a little Latrax Teton to play with. Bad idea. It was fun but not enough. I put in a castle mamba micro x system. Now its fun. But i broke something just about every run. So the upgrade bug took ahold of me and i am hooked again. My coworker came in with an Xmaxx and i was jealous. So i went out and bought a Traxxas Maxx a few weeks ago and man that thing is fun! I really wish i didn’t have so many expensive hobbies!

 

Haha. The belted tires for the Maxx ship from Traxxas in early March. I have been eyeing the new Maxx Slash that is coming out.

 

Ya i was just looking at it. I think my wife will kill me if i come home with a 3rd RC in under 3 months.

 

Anybody here have the mini z MR-03 or MA-020's? I have some questions about fitting MA-020 bodies on MR-03 chassis. I have a bunch of stuff on order but I'm wondering if I need different engine plates to change the wheelbase length or if the RTR kits come with what I need. I ordered a bunch of different offset wheels and I think that takes care of track width?

 

My local hobby shop had one that was marked as first delivery status, it's already reserved but he said he can place orders for them once they can start selling them on the 8th.

 

Is Amain Hobbies always slow to ship? I ordered a bunch of stuff that was in stock on Feb 29th, and it still hasn't shipped.

On another note, I'm still tempted to buy the Felony even though I don't "need" it lol.

 

I just ordered the newly released belted tires for mine.

 

Amain is usually fast as hell when I've ordered from them.

 

Yeah I'll contact them and see what the delay is. It was all misc stuff....set screws, body clips, pinions, etc.
