If they put 17mm in you will have a red wheel nut.

    Yup that be it!!!:)

heck I was there holding stuff for him. He is a wiz and knows every piece and what it does and where it goes. Been doing it for a good while. Family bidness, he was brought all up in it!! It runs and now all four dig in at once without any turbo lag!!!:)

I can’t remember what it cost because I was doing all that during my other massacre. I don’t think it was a bunch, but we get a little bit of a discount because we give them much business

The 6S is still a 60 mph beast. The 8S is a huge vehicle. Everyone around here is out of stock of the 8S so at least I saved acouple hundred $$ lol.

And it’s amazing what those will do!! Hell moving along at a good clip you mash the gas and it still picks the front end up.. You can ride the back wheels for as long as you wish!!! It likes the front end up in the air!:)

unless it isn’t in sync with the controller I hear that a lot.

If you can run it is fine. (I think)

That was the very first power on. I turned the remote on first. It drives fine on all 3 throttle settings. I do hear a rattling type noise at mid speed.....is that normal?

Not being there,,, those things do make some noise. Look at the gear/s that you can see check to see if anything is loose and abnormal wear. Being new that one would be a challenge. Should be fine,, SEND IT!!!:)

one thing I noticed on the stock tires they can be a pain to keep on but if you upgrade that severely hampers the back and forward flips.:)

A note,,,, when starting it up like that it’s best to have it on a stand or holding it up in the air, and make sure the remote is clear. I have seen more that one take off full throttle,, they can get away from you right fast and in a hurry. Those things are big and if someone is in the way it tends to hurt a good bit!!!!:(

I was just searching the distortion noise. Incorrect gear mesh will cause it. I'll look at it tomorrow. The rattling noise could just be something loose. I have seen some comments about checking for tightness of everything when it comes from the factory. I have heard about the wheel nuts coming loose. I bought a set of Arrma Backflips for it as well.

Put the Hot Racing 17mm hex conversion on and got some wheels for the Infraction 3S. The hex kit has a 10mm offset so hopefully I dont have any accelerated wear issues. Now to hack up a body to make it fit. I bought a Nissan Z body that they had at the hobby shop. Not sure if I want to hack that one up to see if it will fit with the 17's or cut the truck body, or see if there is a slightly larger body that someone has done. I think I might have to an RC car build thread on here lol.

What charger do you have? I am looking for a dual charger since the Kraton uses 2 batteries.

I need to pick up another one of those Tundra bodies to paint white so it matches my current truck. Still rocking the gray body on my Slash like my old Tundra

Wow! I still struggle to get bodies with 2 or 3 basic colors to look decent. Great job!

Painting the inside and spraying colors that do not show till you put the back coat on still is weird to me!! HA!:)

Neighbor friend down the street is painting all sorts of bodies then he goes and flips something about a dozen times and skids fifty feet upside down and there goes the paint job!! We all have some pretty good laughs when we get together because there are some very eventful wipe outs!!!:)
