That’s impressive. Couldn’t the board just be leaning against the shelving unit? Or is the stacking a bigger challenge than driving the incline

my neighbor’s senton is like that on 3s. He has never taken it off 50% mode. Even on that setting, full throttle spins all 4 tires regardless of speed!

Has any one built a lightweight ramp to send these things to the moon? I don’t want to make a full wood ramp as they get heavy.

Do you know the overall width and overall height of the trenchers you're using?

    @Hbjeff and @fisherman951
    or any other Slash guys...

Anyone try running these in the rear of a Slash yet?
I experimented with a set of Rustler rears today and they fit perfect, the extra width is really nice. I bought a Rustler for my daughter a few weeks ago, the initial traction and rear end stability is superior to the Slash.

Rustler rears are about 4.25" Tall and 2.25" wide.
These Prolines are almost a spot on match.

    I’ll measure when i get home @OBXTundra

one thing that i have noticed, the LCG chassis is more rear heavy than the stock one was. The weight balance is different. The stock rear springs sag more at rest.

@OBXTundra slash trencher is about 1 3/4 wide of tread with ruler. They say 4.35 tall and 1.86 wide on the sidewall, which seems correct on the height too.

interesting that the rustler tires are shorter, does the extra width hit the body much?

my rear fenderwells were cracked before i realized I could raise the rear body mount. In stock form, they hit at full bump

I made a simple kicker ramp long ago, I left it at my brothers and it lost the battle against weather and dogs. You can use thin plywood and very few braces using 1x3s. It won't weigh much.

Or you can look for a plastic kicker ramp. I've seen them pop up at stores for around $30.

Something like this will give predictable jumps. If you really want air though, use some scrap wood and build a kicker with curve to it. You will break parts unless you have a landing area or at least launch into grass.

Thanks. Those must be the SC trenchers.

I measure my six-packs at 4.25 and the stockers slightly smaller.

The stock rustler rears are the same OD as stock slash. The new pro-line LP trenchers should be about the same size as my current six-packs. Videos I watched of them look huge.

With the stock rustler rears I had zero body contact or rub. I do also have the F100 body and adjustable height body mounts though.

Nice! I might build one and use the rough side of some Masonite I have laying around. I think that will be good for traction. The only thing that kind of sucks with plastic kickers is if you gas it on the ramp you can spin.

Nice RC cars indeed! I fly RC drones and fixed wing aircraft. Been flying RC off and own for 30 years. Since drones came into this hobby I've been flying them a lot. I have a DJI FPV drone with the DJI V2 goggles. It's very immersive, Just like you are in the cockpit! I also have a DJI Mavic Pro for cinematic video. Lots of fun!

What front tires have you put on your Rustler's? The balloon/ag tires just don't cut it as an all terrain tire. Their size also seems to really strain the servo compared to an SC tire.

Sorry for the poor quality picture, indoor crawler axial scx24. Bought in the late spring and started building a terrain board. summer came along and the boat and truck along with house projects took over.
