Now I believe in innocent until proven guilty. But when a person is caught in the act and or admits to the crime then they are guilty and should be held accountable.

Many may recall my house being broken into and the preps caught by me and recovering my property.

Well the one that was arrested that day turns out is a juvinile and will have the charges dismissed and his record cleaned
The other two who are adults who had possession of my property as well as drug paraphernalia in their possession get a pass. Seems there was no evidence they committed a crime.

So ole rlhok here gets screwed has to repair his house and clean up as well as repair a weapon and pay to have a scope repaired that they damaged and the perps walk

    I am in disbelief.
    Stunned
My faith in the system is no more.

Were you not able to press charges? Did the prosecutor not know that you were a witness? :notsure:

Sucks!!! Sorry to hear. I would want a full explanation from the DA, it seems they are not doing their job.

    Don't get me started!!!
I've seen it firsthand, 27 years in the criminal justice system, it can certainly be worse for the victims than the accused!! And now here in California if a criminal is caught with less than a certain value, say stole your identity and run charges less than $900, your identity is ruined and so is your credit, they get a misdemeanor and know it so they keep running misdemeanors and don't go to prison!! That is called Prop. 47, some billionaires who don't live in this Republic helped pass and they don't live here and get to live with the consequences!

I've had enough and want out of here!!!!

Sorry for your loss, Rich. I believe in Karma. Those who do you wrong will get their due punishment in time, by no help from you. Hope you can recover from this!

The ada said there is no evendenve they committed the crime. The main subject was arrested but we are dismissing the charges

That’s what they kept repeating despite what I saw

No finger prints in your house? What about the twerps having possession of your items that were stolen? The DA is daft.

Not saying that's an excuse for the justice system. For the life of me I don't understand why the system is not tough on criminals. Fullest extent of the law is what I say!!!

Our justice system is all about producing verdicts to make prosecutors stats look good. Take them to small claims court. With video/etc you'll have a much better chance of being compensated; assuming any of the rtards have assets.

Those POS' keep me employed....jail is a revolving door for most. It's sad. And I hear people all the time say they need courses to rehabilitate and to better themselves....this is what I say to that....most don't give a shit and don't want to change. You can't help those who don't want to help themselves. Why waste more $$$ on shit that they don't care about other than to lessen their charges? I agree with @Tacogrande....but I also know that there are some who are truly innocent or ducked up that one time and never do it again. The repeat offenders need their asses handed to them

And on the other side of the fence you have people who coerced into guilty plea's so they can go back to their job the next day so they don't get fired and don't lose their home and can provide for their dependents. People in/near poverty cannot afford bail or to sit in jail for a month to go to trial to prove their innocence.

Depends on the politicians in your state!! TX executes criminals every what, 4 days? California hasn't executed anyone in over 20 years I believe??

I would think more so in TX, Angel....Here in Calif the criminals have more rights and the LEO's can't lay hands on anyone 'cuz of cameras in the jail and on the street. Not that I'm saying lay hands on em, just doing the basic job of a LEO is hampered. What if the person is combative or assaulting someone else, you call a crisis negotiator and a priest first? Hell no! IMO

damn, that makes no sense at all??? It seems anymore the cops actually have to see the event occurring before they can do anything unless it has always been like this and I missed it??

My friends ATV was stolen from his property, small town, he asked around found out who did it, kidnapped him, tied him to a tree and sic'ed his 120lb mastiff on him until he confessed and told my buddy where it was hidden. My friend recovered the ATV and never heard anything about the kidnapping. is your town like this? ;)

This why dipshits keep committing crimes. They do it, basically caught red handed and nothing happens to them. People start shooting these bastards when caught in the act, it may slow them down, knowing they may get blowed away.

It seems that this day and age many are guilty until proven innocent unless you are an actual criminal. I’ll leave the rest of that to your imagination.

How about this? Redbull got sued for the drink not actually giving you wings. Redbull lost the case. Everything is total BS nowadays

Yes, I agree it happens...not too often though, if you are working in the system you see it. I think the media portrays it like every case is an innocent person. Just have to know and hear the facts and each case on its own merits.
