Blasphemer!..I drive my Tundra when I'm insecure and want to feel macho.....I drive my Miata when I want to feel the wind blow through my vagina.

HaHaHa...Actually the Insight is also my wife's car. She has owned the Insight 17 months, and keeps bragging about how little she's spending on gasoline...$287 since new, or like $17/month. When I ride in it, I have to lower myself down into the seat, and I keep feeling like my butt is only about 3" from the road surface. :D

I'd like to replace my wife's Corolla (when it eventually dies) with a hybrid. Maybe they'll have a hybrid Corolla hatchback/wagon by then.

Sorry, @NoRcptn for my part in this, but everything about your topic could be said in three posts or less. After that, I figure it's "no holds barred" in Off-Topic. :rofl:Besides, you got in some nice licks yourself! "Eye of the beer holder?"

Pretty little Miata. Wouldn't mind more pics, interior too, if you are willing. I don't know much about them, but I've always sorta liked them. Kinda got a BMW Z3 but reliable vibe. You know, little sporty hot rod kind of thing.

Edit: My idiot brain said M3 when I meant Z3

I almost bought a Ridgeline when I got my 2nd Tundra recently.
They have a lot of interesting features that are distinctly not like any other truck on the market and are plenty truck like enough for me in most ways.
If you want some entertainment go to the RL forums and mention that they are not really trucks too!

Didn't really make sense in the end for me as I wanted a new truck that could replace my other Tundra for towing and long range work trips and the RL was just too marginal for the towing that I wanted in the end.

On the other hand the much better fuel economy was pretty tempting and the plush interior features maybe a little bit too?

But in the end the Tundra that I found just made more sense and was a much better deal than any of the low mile used RL that I was seeing.

I also wonder what idiot at a dealer here decided that it makes sense to list trucks for sale that are in fact not yet for sale as I would likely be driving his RL if it had been there when I went to see it after he listed it for sale.
    NEVER going back there again.

Now I just need to find a way to part with my other Tundra, but I love her still too.

I would say more of a Z3 vibe as an M3 is 3x the car every way around. It's a 2013 Club trim. 168hp/155tq. I sold my highly modded C6 and bought the Miata as I was down to my last driver's license point. (I travel for a living).
I don't have any interior picks at the moment. That's a bike rack hanging off the rear.

My brother bought a RL when they first came out in 2006. He still has it and has not had one issue with it. He lives near Seattle and says he no problems in the snow, ice or rain.

That being said I think RL and Avalanche are fugliest vehicles on road.

Nice car but I would probably look like one of these Shriners if I drove one.

The other vehicle in this class I really like is the Honda S2000.

If they still made an Avalanche, I might be driving one. Pickup truck utility and capability that fits in the garage with a third row for that blue moon time that you need it in a pinch.

I just couldn’t do it, the Avalanche looks like a mistake. They do get good reviews though.......but I still couldn’t do it!

Plus I have had very bad luck with Chevy’s, no problems with the Fords I have had in the past!

I'm 6'2" and 200lbs. Was 267 when I bought it. Fits fine, Older models and the new model have less room.

I read somewhere that the 2007 Avalanche is the most reliable used truck you can buy. I know a lot of guys who swear by GM but they definitely built their reputation for durability between 1989 and 2013 and are now tearing it down with their newer trucks.
