Hey fellas, I do allot of highway driving and really the only complaint I can make about my Tundra is the range. Has anyone tried installing a transfer tank in the bed? I see Northern tool has some well built options. Any advice?

I believe @Relentless has a transfer tank installed. Don't know where he has it. Also, if you live in Cali, I believe it's not legal. I'm sure someone will chime in that has it.

Yeah I have the Transferflow replacement 46gal tank, as does @jberry813
At the 15mpg highway I see I can go about 600 miles before the fuel light comes on, and towing I typically get around 325 before the light. Totally worth the $1200 if you do a lot of long trips or tow medium-long distance. Nice peace of mind when going across long stretches between towns like we can get out here in NV headed across to other surrounding states
