Here's my take on it... Fuck what anybody else thinks!

The only thing you have to ask yourself is this... Do you like those types of stickers on your truck? Do you think they look good? If so then go for it. Why give a fuck what others think?

The only time it might be a little douche' IMO is when you're putting stickers on for products you don't even have but if it ain't on my truck then, while I might laugh or make a joke about it, ultimately I don't give two fucks.

And for the record, no, I don't have those kinds of stickers on my truck

This! I go the extra step to make sure that the dealership sticker disappears very quickly.

The reason I do not put most stickers on my vehicles is:

    - Gun manufacturer stickers...absolutely not. I used to have Glock and Sig stickers on some of my vehicles (before my boating accident and all my guns were lost), I got more attention than I wanted. Mostly good, but then I thought about who might be trying to jack me, they would know I am most likely armed and they would be more prepared than I would be.

    - Sterio equipment just yells steal me...I dare you. Never underestimate how qualified someone is to steal your shit without getting caught.

Things like suspension brand stickers, I wouldn't mind due to anyone can physically see what you have.

I'm VERY particular. This weekend all the free advertising on the Tundy comes off.

Only thing on the 4runner right now is my t4r.org stickers

I don't like the free advertising either. I pull the license plate brackets off and peel off the dealer stickers as well. At some point I'll probably pull the TRD Off Road 4x4 labels as well.

I can't stand stickers on the windows either....those reminder stickers when to change the oil in the top corner of the windshield drive me crazy! So I can't put stickers on my back window either.

I do carry a 3-ring binder (7" x 5") in the truck for a log book of my trips and for taking notes. I put the stickers I like the best on that.

I will be putting my Northwest Overland badge and my Overland Bound badge on my truck, however.

For those of you who do not like to advertise for free, does this apply to other areas of life or does it apply only to trucks? Just curious. For example, do you cover the apple logo on your iPhone/Mac, or Nike logo on your shoes, Nikon logo on your camera, etc?

Well, kinda stuck with those scenarios.

Tough to do when the symbol is sewn onto the shirt, pants or jacket or printed into the phone or tailgate.

I don't like to add stuff to my stuff that's their stuff.

The logos in my home are different than being in public. I refuse to buy clothes that are loud with an advertisement, unless its a bands logo or that I'm proud to rep. A black jacket for example that has a small logo in either gray or white, I'm going to buy the jacket with the gray logo.

It's not if I care what other people think. It's, if I'm going to like it or not. I'm sure people don't like what I've done to my truck and that doesn't bother me. If I don't like the look, I'm not going to install it. I've installed a few things that I didn't like that I later removed.

I second those who say to each their own. I myself like a more subtle OEM look. I tend to customize the OEM logos like my avatar, or design and cut my own vinyl to maintain a more OEM look and feel like this one

Did your truck come supercharged or did you add parts and have that vinyl made?
It looks clean. I’ve been thinking about having custom TSS vinyls made but I’m not sure how to go about it.

I have 2 stickers on my tundra, and I had 4 on my 4 runner. Have one on my Matrix and 2 on my mr2.

They are all the same 2 things, Toyota jims, and toytec.
