We've made three trips to the Outer Banks, NC from north of Pittsburgh this year. The truck was new in April and each trip the mileage improved; June, August, and September trips. Around 7000 miles at the start on the last trip. I changed the oil before going to Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 0-20 and saw the best mileage yet. One stretch was calculated at 26.5 mpg. I want to say it was from Morgantown, WV to Fredericksburg, VA - rolling hills, back roads, and highways running the speed limit or ~5 over. The only picture I took was from Morgantown, WV back to Portersville, PA. All highway but through the Appalachians with construction in PA. 21.9. I pretty much ran 93 the entire trip except the first stop leaving NC when only 91 was available. Previous trips I would fill up with 87 in PA and 91 or 93 when not in PA. We have, or did have, the highest taxes on gas in the states making it the same or more than diesel. I think it is around $4.90 a gallon now.

Side question, is there a way to pull up the trip summary while still driving or even after driving? I hate when I get somewhere and a door gets opened and I don't get to see the summary.

I traded in a Ram Ecodiesel that I could get up to 32mpg so I like seeing what mpg I can get.

Yeah, mine was a 6 speed manual and I really enjoyed the sound. I would have been comfortable taking it to 140 on a very straight and flat local four lane with limited traffic but it wasn't worth going to jail for. Note the "I gotta call my mom" comment in this video:
