Blacking out the badges here soon and adding the black letters to the tailgate. Im all over the place with the front end though. Ill go aftermarket bumper at somepoint so ill leave that alone for now, but the grill changes daily what I want to do. Hopefully one of these days ill decide on a gameplan for the front grill.

I plastidipped mine to begin with but took it all off and went with this:
    https://nox-lux.com/product/2014-2017-tundra-black-out-kit/
Plastidip was an ok "for now" sort of thing but even after 7 coats any little peel or chip meant you had to start all over from chrome. these are way better. Little pricy but they stuck like no other.

About 2 months now and the finish is still great and the hold on them is as well. I was a little skeptical about the 3m taping on the back. I didn't think it looked like it would hold but it really does. I pulled pretty good on them and they didn't budge. They also have the raised tailgate letters too which I wish I would have ordered as well. I had already ordered mine from toytec ( which are great don't get me wrong ) but they are the flat letters. Ordered my dad a set of Tacoma ones from this site and they look really sharp and hold very well also.

So far theyve been great. Only have 2k miles on them so in terms of how they wear too early to tell. They have performed well in mud and on the street. Quieter than I expected them to be as well.

Yea weve gotten plenty of rain here lately and the tires performed well. I havnt gotten super aggressive with them but theyve held the road pretty well so far. Unfortunately we didnt get any snow after I put them on so Ill have to wait till next winter to see how they perform in the white stuff and ice. One thing I have noticed is these seem to pick up and throw rocks more so than tires ive had in the past. No scientific way to prove this other than I drive a lot on gravel and seem to hear rocks bouncing off my boards more so than tires Ive had in the past. (KO2's and Toyo MT's)

Is that about what you were down in the back or did that push it up a little higher than the front? I can't really tell from the angle on that one pic. Definitely looks sharp brah!!

I wasnt real precise with measuring. I was down about 3/4 of inch on the rear and with the shackles it raised it about an inch. I should have done some before and after measurement pics:pout:

Truck looks great. Outside of the Cement color blue is my second favorite, something about it just fits right on the Tundra body.

I'm thinking BDS for mine as well.. you added shackles.. how big? When you put lift in before shackles were you lower in Rear after lift? @Puud

Yea I had a little sag in the rear after the lift nothing real bad. I didnt take the time to get super detailed in how much of a difference Id say about 3/4-1 inch lower in the rear. I added toytec shackles at 1 1/4 setting and it popped the rear end up to where I wanted it.

No problem. Sorry havnt been on here in a while. I dont have the alignment specs anymore but I remember they they all came out in the specified range. I am changing my wheel and tire setup next week so Ill have another alignment done and can post the numbers. Ive done a bunch to the truck since I last updated this but ill get it updated at somepoint. Still have the bds lift and pretty happy with it.

@Puud hey buddy thanks for your reply. mind if you could post your alignment spec?? Sorry for asking if this is too much. I'm trying to help all the tundra owners who's having issue with bds lift kit wearing the outside tires.
