I shipped my truck to Prospeed in Texas to put a rearend in it and tune it since I added all their bolt-ons. They called tonight and said it’s making too much power on 93 to do an E85 tune without replacing the 750cc injectors w/1000 and adding a second pump in the tank. I guess they’re up against the duty cycle. It’s at 585hp now on 93. They’re sending me a price for the modifications in the am. Should I go for it or settle???

Still working on it. Changed my mind back to e85 so they’re adding the pump and changing the injectors.

It's done! Flew out and picked it up and road tripped back last Friday. It took some time to get the E85 modifications complete and the tune done but it was worth the wait. Runs great on 93 and any mixture up to E85.

Nice! Are you running the components in an active setup? Do you like the twk? I was close to getting one but ended up with a helix dsp.

yep! With so many high frequency drivers in the components and the dash the sound stage can be overly bright and the twk makes it simple to control it.

I hear ya. When i went with a 3 way active, i couldn't believe how much sound i was missing out with just having a tweeter and a midbass driver. The 2.5" speaker does a LOT!

So you are running 3-way active + center channel in the front and passive in the rear?

It's been a while so I'm trying to remember... Each door component set (woofer+tweet) is on it's own channel and each of the three dash speakers is on it's own channel. I set the crossovers for the component woofers low and control them with the twk. The Alpine doesn't have a true center channel output so I program one in the twk. I had two 4 channel Slash 300/4v3's but they can't handle Florida heat since they're class A. Now that I have the 6 channel XD I may make a couple changes.

Any updates on this? You are able to run on a mix of gas and e85?

Those numbers are impressive would that be like 650/700 on gas and 750/800 on e85 at the crank?

All good still, running anything between 93 and E85 is fine. Since, I've added exhaust cutouts (hearing damage...) and went down to a 2" pully that changed the boost to 11-12#. Shenanigans!

Damn, you’re at 650 at the wheels with a stock block and it has stayed together for a while?

oops.... went too far. The 2" pulley at 16# of boost on E85 was too much and a couple rods left the chat. Replaced it with a donor w/ 70K on the odometer. Sent the SC to SCOL for a refresh and shrapnel removal... It's back on the road with the 2.3" Sniv Pulley and everything's happy again.
