    Switch can trigger the camera input but you also need power to the camera (which the switch could provide). Add a fuse in the cab fuse box to switch to camera power and head unit interrupt. But with dual triggers you want diodes or relays to isolate the two circuits so you don't have the switch turn on your reverse lights.

    TLDR: It gets complicated and you might prefer purchasing a kit like the anytimebackupcamera options, just no good switch spots in our trucks for small rectangular switches like modern Toyotas. That's where I'm sort of stalled out. A toggle switch could work though, with some diodes, just kind of not-sexy.

    Start with just getting it going in reverse then we can discuss getting fancy?
